It was finally Junior year I finished celebrating my 17th birthday not to long ago. Not only that a new member joined into a group. Unfortunately he's a guy and most of us are girls his name is Rio he came from a different country and he had a thick accent. Harper enjoys making fun of him like calling him a twig and such. We told him about my condition and he feels bad but I told him not to it was unavoidable from the start.
My friends always know how to make each other smile and laugh whether it's an insult or an inappropriate joke. But it's starting to get harder for me to catch up with them. "Willow! Come on!" Harper said cheerfully. We were at the park hanging out and most of the group wants to go to the swings. "I'm coming give me a sec-" I started coughing uncontrollably. I leaned against a tree and took deep breathes. "Willow? You okay?" Harper came up to me worry displayed in her eyes. "I'm fine Harper.....I just need a minute....that's all...." I said taking breathes between words.
My condition is starting to get worse bit by bit. It's getting hard to speak properly. During class I have to excuse myself to get refreshers. I know it's bad but I couldn't help it. Junior year is probably the year when things starts taking it's toll for me. I hate to admit things but.....I'm really not ready there's so much memories for me to create for the people who cared about me and I cared about them. There's so much for me to thank them for.
I finally made it up to the swings slow but steady. "Willow! You finally made it!" Alice called out. "....yea..." I said breathlessly. I was starting to feel dizzy and light headed that I fell on to my knees. "Willow!?" I heard everyone called out. I heard the patting feet of multiple people running towards me. "Willow! You okay!" Nabi asked concern laced in her voice. I couldn't reply I was breathing heavily. I felt like slipping through the darkness but I couldn't. "Get her on the bench." Maxell told everyone. I felt someone lift me up and set me down. "Does someone have water?" Harper asked. "I do!" Shrimpy dig through her bag pulling out a water bottle. Harper took the water bottle and open it for me. "Willow drink some water it might make you feel better." Harper held the bottle up to my mouth as I drink the liquid down. "You okay?" Alice asked. I nodded giving a reassuring smile. But to everyone they all knew what's going on. Time is almost up.
Almost for me to leave.....
