I was drawing up a new chapter for a manga series I wrote. I currently live in Japan. Yes, it's far away from my friends and family. But I still keep in touch with them if they aren't asleep that is.

I was drawing a girl in her fighting stance until my phone rang. I answered it with a simple hello. "Ms.Im someone is here to drop something off for you." My landlord called. "Okay I'll be down in a sec." I told him. I don't remember ordering anything or maybe I did and just forgot.

I went down the elevator and was greeted by lady in a leather jacket with a plain white T-shirt and some ripped jeans and boots. Half of her face was covered by a bandanna and she was carrying a motorcycle helmet. Her hair was long raven black and very pretty. Maybe I should ask her to pose for one of my anime characters one day. I walked up to the intimidating lady and said hey.

She looked at me and her eye color remind me of dark chocolate. She appears to be Asian or something but I can't just jump to conclusions. "Are you Nabi Im?" She asked her voice was a bit muffled by her bandana but it was still clear.

"Yea I am." She pulled out something in her leather jacket and handed it to me. "A friend of yours wanted to give you this." It was a white envelope she was handing me. "A friend? Why would a friend send me an envelope if we could video call or text?" I questioned.

"Maybe she has no way of trying to get in touch with you so this is the only way." She spoke, "i'm off oh! By the way I like the manga you are writing it's pretty interesting." She put on her helmet and walked out of the building. "Someone who couldn't get in touch with me?" I questioned myself.

I went back to my apartment. Still figuring out which friend doesn't have contact with me. I opened the envelope eager to find out who it is. Inside was a an anime girl with bear ears in a onesie. "I remember this!" I spoke with glee.

I noticed there was something on the back from the way the light was hitting making it see through. I flipped it over to see what it was but it was a small note.

It's been awhile since I've watched some good anime or read good mangas. Thank god you have something that peeks my interest. After all we did had ideas to write a manga together along with the others right? Nabi Im.

"Ideas to write manga together?" I talked to myself. Inside the envelope was a letter I pulled it out and unfold it. I read the letter, at first it wasn't much of a big deal but halfway through the letter made me pale as a ghost and sweating. I threw the letter on to my table and started packing things that was important or seems important. "Do I need shoes? Are they even important!" I talked to myself running around my apartment gathering things.

I finally finished my last minute packing and started heading out towards the airport. I was heading back to a place that I thought I never step foot again.

.....how did this happened?....
