Graduation

*cough cough*

"You okay Willow?" James held my hand tightly in his hand. "Yea....I'm fine just a bit tired that's all." I left up my hand to touch his cheek so he knows it's okay. My friends were graduating today and as much I want to see them walk on stage it'll be impossible in my condition. "I have a surprise." James said. I gave him a questioning look in which I told him I don't like surprises that much. He pulled out a laptop that have a webcam attached to it and set it out in front me. "A laptop with a webcam?" I questioned. "You'll see." He pushed a button and instantly I saw my friends all in cap and gown smiling and waving through the camera. "Guys!" I said. "Sup Willow!" They all said. "What the how!" I said amazed. "Just because I'm getting my degree in the medical field doesn't mean I don't know anything about technology and cameras." James chuckled.

"You did this!" I asked still amazed. "Yup! And your friends helped me as well." He said, "hey guys!" He greeted them. "Hey James! Remember hands off of precious innocent Willow if you know what's good for your health!!!" Harper threatened him through the laptop. "I think I'm just gonna sit over here." James withdrawal away from the laptop a bit afraid of Harper.

I giggled and was happy to see my friends all ecstatic about this big day. The camera was settled up on a tripod in the front row so I'll be able to see everyone walk on. One by one I saw my friends walk on the stage as their names were called out being handed their high school diploma. It almost made me teary eyed if only I was up there with them. Suddenly I heard something that shocked me and everyone else.

"Today, one of our students couldn't make it to her own graduation due to a severe condition that she has. We heard that she doesn't have much time to live in this world but she worked hard everyday to keep her grades up she laughed and smiled along side with her friends despite what situation she was in. It saddens me to see her in such a state but this is all I could offer her." The principal of the school spoke to everyone and James leaned in forward to hear what the principal had to say. "I present this diploma to Willow Evergreen may wherever she be, be in good hands." The principal walked up to my group of friends and handed him my diploma to them. My friends were as equally shock as me.

I wasn't expecting a diploma at all since I never attended the last year of my high school. "James? What just happened?" I asked him in total shock. He was equally shock as well. "I guess you graduated high school! Congratulations!" James said trying to lighten the mood up.

After that all my friends visited me in the hospital. "That was very odd for the principal to present something like that." Nabi said. "Yea not only that the principal gives me the creeps." Shrimpy shivered. "Well I bet he has his reasons as to why he did it and we might as well respect that." James stated. "Your right, lets change the subject to....." Rio thought about it, "Oh I know! What's the deal between you and Willow!" Rio stood up abruptly.

"Rio!!!! You're being overprotective br-" I started coughing non-stop. "Willow!" James held on to my back and rubbed it as I continued coughing. For some reason I felt lightheaded and dizzy. When I finished coughing I pulled my hand away and saw blood. "Oh god.....no...."Alice said horrified. "Willow?......"Jamie called my name worry laced in her voice. "Guys....."I feel weak all of sudden it was hard to speak now. I feel forward a bit but James didn't allow that and held me up having me lean against his chest.

"Willow! Stay with us!!!" James shouted, "One of you guys go get help now!" Everyone got up all at the same time running out of the room looking for help. "Willow!!! Stay strong!" James cried as his eyes threatened him with tears peeking out. "James......I don't....feel good......I'm tired...." I spoke softly feeling my body slowly giving up.

"No! Don't close your eyes! Don't you dare close them you hear me!" James held on to me tighter. "Please.....just a quick nap....."I said. "Willow!!!" James shouted my name. I closed my eyes as James called out my name repeatedly as tears ran down his face. "Willow......I love you.....please don't leave just yet just a few more days a week even just a bit longer.....please Willow...."James held on to me like his life depended on it. "Please.....I'm begging you...."
