"Mom! There you are!"

Surprised to see a little boy right in front of me but I couldn't help but feel like I know this child. I closed my eyes for a moment thinking this was all a dream. But when I opened them it wasn't and it made since I remembered who I am.

Willow Evergreen, age 28, single Mom. "Sorry dear, I hope I didn't scare you." I bent down to the small boy. "Did you have fun in the park?"

"Yea! Aunty Harper taught me how to play baseball!"

"That's good to hear my fierce snow leopard." I said smiling. "Now why don't you go and clean, dinner is almost ready....Blake." I saw the small boy named Blake smile and run off to get himself cleaned for dinner. As much this feels like a fantasy something in my doesn't feel right whatsoever.

"Today in school I learned that dinosaurs lived to be 65 million years old!"

"Really now! That seems to be a long time!" I said. I was picking up Blake from his school and he was telling me what he learned in school today. He seemed to always have a passion for learning and I'm glad for that.

"And! Did you know there's like a billions and billions of stars in the whole galaxy!"

"That's pretty impressive Blake!" I giggled at him seeing his eyes light up.

"When I grow up! I wanna be an astronaut Mom! So I can bring the biggest and shiniest star just for you!"

I chuckled and stopped on our way walking home. "You can be whatever or whoever you want as long your heart is in the right place. You can be an artist, musician, or even an astronaut as long you promise me one thing." I spoke softly to him.

"What is it?"

"That whatever you choose to do in the future is something that you want and no one else's okay?" I said taking his small hands and holding into mine, "if it makes you happy....go for it and I'll always be proud of what you do as long your heart is in the right place my snow leopard."

"Okay Mom, I promise!"

I smiled at him and we continued our home. Even though something doesn't feel right,  just me being here feels fine.

-4 Months Later-

Harper's P.O.V

It has been 7 months since the incident. There isn't any sign of her awakening but there has been a few close calls of her slipping away. The whole group is scared and worried that we might not hear Willow's voice again or give our proper good byes. The deadline is nearer and nearer the longer she is on that hospital bed.

"Coffee?" Rio came out from behind me and handed me coffee. "Thanks." I said. "Anything happened while I was away?" Rio asked. "Nope." Alice muttered. We were all visiting Willow once again waiting for a miracle to happen but even if we do wish for one we end up going home disappointed and worried. "This is just excruciating to watch!" Jamie said letting out a sigh. "It may be agonizing to watch and being here but we have to we all promised that we stick together no matter what." I said. I looked down at Willow still in a deep coma waiting for her to wake up any moment. Even if she does wake up there's a chance she won't remember anything even me.

Willow's P.O.V

The more I spend time playing with this boy the more I see a resemblance in myself as a child. I may be seclusive to myself but I always had the wildest imaginations. No matter where or what the situation may be my imaginations never stopped me from having any adventures.
