"Bes tomorrow na exhibit mo, excited ka na", tanong ni Pat.

"Nervous. Hindi ko alam if maging successful o hindi",,sagot ko. Habang pina finalize ang lahat ng details sa exhibit.

I'm a designer, hindi ng damit or anything. I'm an interior designer. Now, I'm doing my own exhibit. Since marami na kasi ang mga pinoy na dito na nag stay sa Canada, they say na, they wanted their house, to have a little bit touched of hometown design. Yung mapi feel nila na parang nasa Pilipinas parin sila.

_____

"This is great, ang gaganda ng design",  sabi ng isang lalaki.

"You speak Pilipino language", puna ni Pat.

"Of course, I have pilipino blood. My mom is pilipina and my dad is Canadian", sabi ng lalaki.

"Great. I'm Patricia, but you can call me Pat", pakilala nito.

"Adam...", as he accepted her hands. "Are you the designer?", tanong nito.

"No...it's my friend. And you know what. She's pilipina", sabi ni Pat.

"Really! Wow...Pilipina are really excellent", Adam says while smiling.

"There she is", sabi ni Pat ng makita nitong palapit si May.

"Hi...you're May?", tanong nito.

"Yeah", sagot ni May.

"I'm Adam. Your a great designer.  I love it", he say, he didn't take his eyes away from May.

"Thanks...I'll show you around", sabi ni May.

May's pov

"I'm sorry if I've felt nervous ang awkward. It's my first time so... but maybe I can show you what do you want in your future home.

This one is the latest. This one brought me here, so I'm thankful. Well , as you've said your half pinoy. Meaning, your familiar sa mga big gatherings,  most pilipinos do specially during anniversaries,  Christmas,  new year. I think, every celebration. So that's what I did and my last client really like it a lot.

"Wow, its nice. I love to live in that place. I think, this won't be the last time that we will see each other. Maybe I can asked your calling card, maybe you and me will work in the future ", says Adam.

If you're thinking how Adam looks like...this is him.

"Sure, I'm looking forward for that", says May as  she handed him her business card
