Chapter Three

Britain 2034

"Fiona! Come here, you need to see this!" The stout ginger man named Hector ordered, nearly leaping from his chair in excitement.

"You see this mouse?" He questioned, whilst injecting it with a mysterious solution. "Watch this." He requested as he placed a gleaming blade upon its neck and sliced a thin line across it. An agonised squeel escaped the mouse's minute mouth while thick crimson blood seeped from the wound. Fiona cringed, as if she were unsure of what Hector's intentions were. That's when her expression changed. Her expression changed to one of disbelief and fascination. Her expression changed because what she saw defies the laws of nature. The wound healed.

"No way, pinch me." Fiona gasps.

"Yes way! Five years and we've found it, we've done it at last!" He jumped up and searched for the phone.

"We better contact the Government." She suggested, despite the fact that he was clearly in the process of dialing the number.

"You see this Fiona?" Hector asked, holding a vile of milky liquid up to the light. "This is going to earn us a fortune. This will make Britain unbeatable.

This is infinosil."
