*RING RING, RING RING*

The sound of a phone echoed through the lab.

No one was around to answer it, unless you expect one of the caged-up, experiment mice to scurry out and pick up the phone.

All was silent, all except for the sound of heavy footsteps approaching from the corridor.

Hector appeared, with hair that could either be wet or shockingly greasy. Judging by his past habits, the latter option was more likely.

He snatched up the phone and, before he had a chance to say hello, an authoritive voice screeched into his ear. "What the hell do you think you're doing? I hear you have the families locked up like your stupid experiment mice!" The head of government ranted.

"Stupid experiment mice? STUPID EXPERIMENT MICE?! Without those mice we wouldn't have infinosil," Hector thought, though he wouldn't dare say it out loud. Instead, he simply asked, "well what is it that you wish for us to do with them Sir?"

"Make them feel normal, I can arrange for some facilities to be sent to you that can be used to set up a village in close proximity to the labs. If they feel that they are being inprisoned, there's no chance that they will co-operate with our plans, we need their co-operation. Set up schools where they are taught the good that they will do to Great Britain, make them feel like heroes. Then, when the time comes, they will let us experiment on them, they will be our lab mice."

Being an agressive man, Hector would much rather make them co-operate by force and violence, but what could he do? He had no power over the Government, the rejuvenation were just as much slaves to the government as their captured families were to them.

"Okay," Hector said, "we'll get started straight away."

At that, a click could be heard from the other end and a dull buzz replaced the booming voice that once took its place.
