With most of the team living far and few between, it wasn't uncommon that there would be a friend Christmas. Angela and Hana had both been working in London, and had no chance to return home for the festivities, whereas Fareeha wanted to spend Christmas with Angela so had decided to stay with you as well. You lived in London, so rather than staying in such a formal setting, you insisted that the three of them stay with you. Angela and Fareeha did their best to make jabs at you for inviting Hana. They knew you liked her a lot; you just couldn't believe them when they said that Hana liked you in return.
On Christmas Day, Angela had offered to be head chef seen as she was the only one whom could cook at a decent level, whilst the three of you were told to spend time in the lounge relaxing. Angela had asked you to help her quickly in the kitchen, as she wasn't sure where some things were. As soon as she had been helped with what she needed, she insisted that you should go relax with the other two, and that Fareeha might need help setting up a Christmas film for you all.
As you walked through the doorway between the living room and the kitchen, you were stopped by walking into something. You clung onto it; it held onto you too. After a moment you realised that it was Hana whom you had bumped into.
"Sorry... Fareeha said Angela needed me," she said softly.
"It's okay..." you trailed off as you looked up to avoid eye contact.
You knew that your cheeks were becoming crimson as you cared ever so dearly for the woman before you and you didn't want her to know that as you would seem like a fool. However, from avoiding her eye contact you noticed a small plant hanging over your heads. Your eyes widened as you realised that it was mistletoe.
Your eyes drifted down to lock on Hana's noticing a smirking Fareeha behind her.
"Um... oh..." you muttered.
"Just kiss already," Fareeha demanded.
Hana turned around to look at her, equally stunned by her words as you were.
"We know you're both hopelessly in love with each other, just admit it to yourselves," Angela added.
You ran a hand through your hair, wondering if it could be true. Although you were almost certain it wasn't the case.
"So... urm... do you like me?" Hana questioned. "Like, like me, like me?"
Even though every sense told you not to, you nodded your head.
Hana's eyes lit up as she hastily pulled you towards her, pressing her lips to yours more forceful than she probably should have- not that you were complaining.
"Merry Christmas, love birds," Fareeha grinned.
