Another day went past...maybe. Who knows what day it was. You could have been down here for weeks, months, years but you had no idea. One day you're on the stage performing to a whole arena of beloved fans, the next you're crammed into a van with a sack on your head and then chained in some dingy cellar. Rats scuttered around your feet and he rusted chains dug deeply into your wrist but did not budge no matter how hard you tugged and writhed. You had not even seen the sun since you had been down here, and your captors had done enough to just about keep you alive. There was no hope, was anybody even still looking? Was anybody looking to begin with? Lucio always said that he would protect you and look after you, god how you miss him, his uplifting spirit, his laugh, his smile, his touch.

A whirlwind of dust and debris fluttered around the room as the steel bolted door that had held you was kicked open. An array of uniformed and armed men ran into the room in formation.

"We've got them!" The one in front yelled to the back, the squad parted to make room for what you presumed to be a medic come through, she threw a blanket over you, the warmth was instant.

"Where is she?" A panicked voice called out, you recognised the voice, but it had been so long since hearing anybody. "Let me through!" He danced his way through the officers trying to blockade him from you.

Lucio scrambled into the room and fell on his knees beside you, he flung his arms tightly around you, the warmth was one hundred times that of the blanket.

"How long has it been?" You asked, the light coming from the room adjacent to the cell was almost blinding, but you had not felt so secure for so long.

"About three years... I can't believe we found you." Tears streamed down his face.

"I thought you had forgotten about me..." He chuckled ever so slightly.

"I have... We have been looking for you every day since you went missing." He had not loosened his grip around you.

"Where am I? What happened?" The medic moved in and began running some tests on you, Lucio reluctantly moved out of the way but still held onto your hand, you never wanted him to let go again.

"I'll explain everything to you once you're in hospital, but for now just let the doctors do their job, rest easy my love, you're safe now."
