The dust settled revealing the bullet-stricken walls, smashed windows and decimated buildings. The rest of Overwatch had managed to get onto the ground and, under Reinhardt's shield was beginning to push forward along the scattered road, the heavy Talon fire made this job exponentially more difficult. As the two marksmen of the group, you and Ana had managed to climb up to the top floor of a high building and had secured a fantastic vantage point, displaying the entirety of the battlefield.

You and Ana had darted from window to window looking for the perfect position, she gestured for you to move along to the next window, just as you had moved the wall where your head had been crumbled into a small pile of dust and had become embedded with a bullet, you and her shared a look of disbelief and shock before heading under cover.

On your hands and knees, you crawled over the broken glass, shrapnel and bullet casings to a new window, peeking your head over and laying your rifle on the window pane you began to look out, but you could not see anything.

"SNIPER!" Reinhardt called out in his thick accent, his shield was taking heavy damage and was surely soon to give out.

Through the barrage of bullets, you caught a glimpse of the person who almost blew your head into pieces, as the turned to assist with the shield you lined up your crosshairs with her head but something within you would not let you pull the trigger. She was the most beautiful person that you had ever seen, her long hair was tied in a ponytail that sat gracefully on the back of her head and even though it appeared to be a peculiar hue her slender face left you speechless.

Her rifle swung around to you, her crosshair seemed to plant directly onto your face yet she did not open fire either, her jaw slowly dropped. The thunderous air of the battlefield seemed to disappear as you both just stared at each other through the concave glass of your scopes, the gunfire and ear-rattling explosions numbed into nothing but white noise as your eyes met.

"Sniper, fourth floor window seventeen!" Ana yelled, breaking your trance before rifle released a bullet that nailed the wall behind her head that would have hit her if the noise and flash from Ana's shot did not break her state.
