"Lena!" You exclaimed, snatching open the curtains to let the morning light flood the bedroom.

Your girlfriends' eyes although already closed, screwed up further to fight the infiltrating light, giving up and smoothing her face with a pillow from your side of the bed. Lena was an incredibly brave woman and she was willing to partake in any fight that she was needed in but she wasn't ever willing to fight the morning, preferring to stay in bed for as long as it was permitted, and would put up a fight to leave your bed.

She was incredibly stubborn and if she wasn't able to get ready incredibly quickly, you would have been far more annoyed with her refusal to leave the bed.

"Lena get your arse out of bed," you hissed, gripping hold of the end of the quilt and tugging it off of her, revealing her dishevelled self, still wishing to stay in bed.

Lena squirmed, trying to curl up and seek warmth but without the quilt it was a futile attempt. She flopped onto her back, shooting a glare at you. If looks could have killed, you would have been six feet under; you were just glad that she loved you anyway, regardless of the fact that you were to blame for waking her.

"You better have a good reason for waking me up at the ass-crack of dawn," she growled, launching the pillow she had used to protect her eyes at you.

You caught the feather filled projectile, shooting her a look. Checking your watch, you were shown that Lena's natural time keeping wasn't accurate and dawn had long passed.

"It's half eleven," you stated. "Get up, it's important."

"What important things can happen at half eleven?" She grunted, swinging her legs out of the bed.

For someone who was known for moving so quickly, she was incredibly lazy. Maybe due to the amount she ran around at work, she made the most of her time in bed even if it was way past the time that she should have awoken.

"Talon have been spotted at the speech in the city, we're needed to keep watch and make sure there's no trouble," you stated, pointing out the fact you were already dressed in your uniform.

Lena's eyes widened and with a couple of flashes she was stood in front of you ready to leave.

"Let's go."
