You stood anxiously in the doorway as Olivia loaded up her laptop. She was practically always on her laptop or her computer, but this time it would be significantly different. She was still in her pyjamas, her hair tied to the side of her head, out of her face and her face bare of the makeup she usually wore. This was the side of her that you loved. You knew she wasn't the best of people and worked for a questionable at best organisation, but you loved how relaxed and casual she became around you.
Even though you had been together for a few years, you had no idea how to get onto her laptop, she had so many layers of protection on it, even if she did tell you how to, you'd surely forget. This time however you knew she didn't have to log in the way she did before. You approached her, looking over her shoulder to see the black screen of the laptop to light up.
Instead of the log in details she usually had there was a pink screen, with beautifully scrawled writing.
This is probably a bad time, but marry me?
You smiled awkwardly as she turned to you with a sly smile.
"Did you do this?" She asked.
You nodded your head.
She cocked one of her eyebrows up at you.
"How did you get into my computer and then remove all of the protection on it? There is a higher defence on this device than the FBI or CIA have combined."
An innocent smile crawled onto your lips.
"A lot of blood, sweat and tears," you stated.
Her eyebrow cocked once more. "Now the real answer?"
You couldn't help but smile at her. She knew you too well, and that you were far too incompetent with technology to even attempt to get into her computer.
"Okay, I had to buy a new version of your laptop and pretend it was yours. I tried to get in but, yeah, it was impossible," you shrugged. "I thought it was still a nice gesture."
She rolled her eyes at you, reaching a hand up to pull your face down to her level.
"It was the best gesture," she smirked. "And as for your question. It certainly wasn't a bad time however that doesn't mean I am not going to say yes. Of course, I wish to marry you."
With that she leaned in to press her lips to yours, giving you immense joy.
