I am not a breeder in anyway nor do I own a dog or even condone breeding for the selfish reason of having puppies although I realize we need to have them breed lest we kill off the entire canine populous.

I feel really bad for what we as humanity did to man's best friend I mean how we bred these dogs virtually destroyed the entire breed I'm going to show you a few dog breeds that we're ruined in about 100 years time.

Can you believe that this is a Pug probably not, I really wish that Pugs looked like they did back 1880 I mean seriously they just look cuter I mean I have had some really deformed Pugs just drool on me and I honestly believe I would feel comfy sl...

I really hate us as a species for this one I mean just look at the German Shepherd he became just so top heavy and it looks as if his spine shortened and because of all this his legs also seem to rest lower, I can't fathom the health problems that...

I really hate us as a species for this one I mean just look at the German Shepherd he became just so top heavy and it looks as if his spine shortened and because of all this his legs also seem to rest lower, I can't fathom the health problems that come with all this and I've had so many good experiences with German Shepherd's in my life.

The facts make this so much harder to take in and to think the boxer used to look more like a pitbull than what we picture of Boxer sucks too because my uncle had a Boxer and he died of cancer which would likely be a lot more rare in the unaltered breed, he used to lick my face for hours as a child making sure I could escape him.

I think the original English Bulldog be was a beautiful little dog I mean look at it it's incredibly adorable meanwhile the extra wrinkles obscure the dogs eyes and then there's the extra weight and the extremely short life span as well as the dogs ability to do a ton of things.

I do find myself loving the original more just considering how perfect of a specimen even though it doesn't have the ears we adore but it's best not to alter a species for a particular trait that could possibly harm the animal.

To think the bull terrier once looked like a regular dog this is honestly maybe the most jarring change notice how much shorter and beefer the dog is then of course the iconic snout which is honestly horrifying to me as it makes the dog look it has a serious birth defect but no that's been bred in, I believe even the ears have been changed although that may be because of picture and angle.

Now can you imagine if humanity itself was a byproduct of this selective breeding and how different we would look as a whole, I wonder what diseases were born of this process of breeding even if it was accidental?
