Untraced drawing
Traced drawing.
My reference drawn by CartoonyCanine
There was a specific reason why I drew this besides it being a absolutely beautiful piece as to be expected by all those who know of Toony, Toony herself has been going through some troubles of her own so I thought reiterating that message she gave me when I was in a bad place would help her a little, when I received the first piece I was so blown away that I requested a digital version for a book cover feeling the words "Stay Strong" would be good luck and act as a welcome for all those who have been through some trouble in their lives as I'm sure a lot of you already know I help people through a lot of different things, I have built a family on here with so many lovely people and well I just keep adding new names everyday in fact I have probably three new names to put up today anyway my point in this piece is to both express gratitude and welcome you ghosts to come talk a little.
Dear Toony
You told me to "Stay Strong" not too long ago but now sadly the shoe's on the other foot and I scramble desperately to make you happy finding Artists willing to take requests to create a piece to send a similar message sadly I don't think any have made anything but I feel that isn't the point, the point was to make you happy which I felt it did perhaps only for a short time but I feel that knowing that someone out here loves you so much that they wouldn't see you sad is enough, I'm happy that you and I have made such strong bonds in the short time we've known each other and have got to know one another well enough that we could truly feel like kindred spirits regardless of how far flung apart we truly are, seriously think about it the ocean that stands between us it's done little to keep us apart and that's beautiful truly the internet has done something amazing in joining us even if only for a moment and for that alone I'd share my love with the world but first my family, you were the first to truly keep in contact with me speaking on a nearly daily basis and for that I would like to thank my first Sister but also tell her I'll never see her sad if it's within my power to make happy with that I leave my final message: I love you, Toons!
Love Lorsen, your American neighbor
Now for those who waited for the errors here are the mistakes and differences.
#1 The nose is lumpy and small compared to the reference
#2 The lower jaw may be larger than the reference.
#3 The scrapes on the face are smaller than the reference.
#4 The hair isn't drawn nearly as well and ends prematurely before the middle of the right ear.
#5 The hair going down his neck is far bigger and thicker than the reference.
#6 One eye looks slightly bigger than the other.
#7 The chest fur pops out to far like the hair around the neck and suffers the same problems.
#8 The whole right ear is awkward and looks as if it was nearly cut off due to the thick rounded edge.
#9 The words are off center and are very uneven and rushed.
#10 The overall drawing is a lot messier which is to be expected.
#11 It's not colored once again I was too scared.
I hope you guys enjoyed this and before I go the Chowsky won and is our Mutt.
