I tried to draw a hat and that eventually led to me attempting medieval helmets personally I don't think they came out to well, but for a mere attempt they didn't come out too bad...

I forget the name of this helm reminds me a little of a sallet, I messed up that one side horribly I would have erased it but the paper makes it hard to erase.

The closed helm sadly came out the worst, I rushed all these looking back leading to all these messed up lines and shapes.

This helm I added to a little by adding the thin metal strips encasing the eyes turning it into what I would call a half helmet that covers everything from the top of the head to the nose leaving the mouth, jaw, and throat open to attacks.

I tried drawing a hat I have and I failed particularly bad, I really am trying to learn how to draw and put things like this together with other things I've learned to create a more realistic face.
