I wake up to Skyla and Alexa playing dolls on my bedroom floor "good morning mum" Skyla says as Alexa's head pricks up "gwood mwaning mwummy" Alexa says as she walks over to me giving me a hug. I lift my blanket up letting them jump in bed with me "mwummy deres a wolf on your fwinger!" Alexa says really excited when she sees my wolf tattoo on my finger. I just giggle and fall back asleep.
A little later
I wake up and make me and the girls pancakes "here's breakfast" I say giving them their food.
An hour later
Skylas at school and Miakoda insisted on looking after Alexa for the day.
I sit in the lounge room playing GT on the tv for hours, "your pretty good" I hear from behind me causing me to drive the car into a wall, I pause the game and turn around "hello" I say as the guy chuckles and sits on the couch "I'm the new Beta" he says putting his hand out "agh what's with my father getting randoms to fill these places?" I complain, he looks confused for a second then realises "your Luna, the retired alphas daughter" I just nod "well I'm Aidan" I smile and shake his hand "wanna play?" I ask as he nods smirking "I'm gonna take you down" he says grabbing a controller "sure sure" I answer back.
"Ahahah" I laugh hysterically after winning 12 games in a row against Aidan "your cheating" he says annoyed "no your just not that good" I say grinning "whatever" he answers. I hear a knock on the door, I stand up walking downstairs to the door opening it to see Midnight, I just stare at her "heyy" Midnight says really awkwardly and nervous "you have a lot of nerve showing up here after leaving me behind for 3 years" I snap, "I didn't have a choice, I didn't want to" she answers snapping back "you left when I needed you most!" I yell
"Do you really think I wanted to, I was kept away and forbidden to see you, I tried so many times to get here but failed" she yells back
"From who" my voice cracks
"The one family member that we share and have left" she answers I sigh "do you want to meet your niece?"
"Yeah, sure"
"Come in" I whisper
I grab my phone and call Miakoda.
"What's it like raising a child?" She asks I look at her and smile "it's amazing.... sometimes" I say, Midnight giggles. Midnight runs past me and upstairs "huh?" I mumble as I run catching up to her, she runs into the bathroom crouching over the toilet vomiting, I run up to her and hold her hair for her "you alright?" I ask
"Sorry" she says
"Don't be sorry" I answer back
"I found out this morning that I'm... pregnant" she says as I freeze "I should have realised" I say as she sits up "here" I say passing her a wet hand cloth "thanks, means a lot" she answers, then I hear a knock at the door "I'll be back" I say giving her a smile.
I walk to the door to see Miakoda with Alexa "thanks so much" I say as I hold Alexa's hand, I close the door and pick Alexa up "Lexi meet auntie Midnight" I say as she looks at midnight "hello" Midnight says
"hewo mwudnwight" she answers
"Hey could you watch her for 15 minutes I have to pick Skyla up from school, you could come if you want" I say putting Aleaxa back on the ground "I'll come" she says I nod and open the front door walking to my car. I put Isabella in her seat and open the door for midnight, I get in the drivers seat and start driving.
We stop at a cafe and I buy myself a coffee, Alexa and Skyla a donut each and a muffin for myself, Midnight gets an iced tea.
We pick up Skyla and head back home, Skyla brought a boy home for a play date, his names Tyler, we get home they run off to skylas room Alexa goes for a nap in my room so I sit down at the tv with midnight.
"Sorry it's been so long" Midnight says
I just nod "Skyla had her first shift" I say looking at the tv
"Awe cute" Midnight says
"She looks exactly like Toby's wolf only with my piercing blue eyes" I say
"Cute" she answers
"And I'm getting her a pet puppy in a few days" I say
"Awww" she says smiling
"You should come" I say
After a few hours
After a few hours of me and Midnight catching up, she leaves because Brad is getting worried.
I go to Skylas room with chips and chocolate "here you go" I say, Tyler looks like a really shy boy, his also 9, he has dirty blond hair and green eyes he is tanned but not too dark. He seems like a good kid for Skyla to be hanging around.
I make my way to my fathers office,
"Hey dad" I say as I enter hoping his not angry at me anymore
"Luna" he answers looking up from his computer
"Could you tell Logan that we will be building a fourth story to this house for his bedroom and office to be on, there will also be another lounge and more bedrooms for pack members" my father says before look back at his computer "uh, okay?" I say as I make my way out 'his still mad at us' my wolf says sad 'oh well, he will get over it' I answer back.
