Logan's POV~~
I walk up to my office with Eric & Selena (pack members)
"We have some.. bad news" Eric says as he sits down, Selena looks away "what's happened?" I demand Selena sighs and looks at Eric, neither of them speak "tell me!" I yell as Selena jumps and Eric looks down scared "I'm sorry" I say closing my eyes, Selena is only 16 and Eric her twin brother also 16. "Aidan he was..." Selena says trailing off, I'm starting loose my patience "found dead, Aidan was found dead" Eric says looking at Selena they both look down and the room falls silent, "WHAT?!" I yell after a few minutes "he was found with multiple vampire bite marks" Selena whispers "in the woods" Eric adds. I close my eyes "the woods aren't as safe as they use to be, I don't want any wolfs in the woods by themselves until further notice" I say as they both look at me "AND THAT'S A ORDER!" I yell as they both quickly stand and exit the room.
I sit with my head in my hands, Aidan didn't deserve this. Aidan was nothing but nice, he was strong and always great to talk to he would give the best advice and make you laugh when you had no hope left, he was the best mate ever, he was my best friend not just the beta, my friend. I sit thinking, yes he was gay but he was everyone's favourite guy in the pack he was loyal and strong. I sigh as I think about my new orders, no one in the woods alone. Then I remember "LUNA!" She ran into the woods before, and it was all Daniels fault, I swear I'm gonna kill that jackass oh wait it was my fault too, more Daniels though. I think as I stand up grabbing my leather jacket and running downstairs "Alpha" I hear someone yell but I keep running 'Luna... Luna... luna... Luna' is all I'm thinking, and nothing else matters at this point.
I turn wolf and run through the woods.
Lunas POV~~
It slowly gets darker as the sun disappears into the trees and mountains, I feel myself feeling happier already. I hear leaves rustling behind me but it's not the wind. I quickly get to my feet and turn to see a guy standing before me smirking "and what do YOU want?" I ask annoyed he tilts his head and leans back before shapeshifting into a tiger I roll my eyes and turn into a wolf attacking him.
He shifts back and so do i, "oh Luna I've been waiting for this moment for years" the vampire says as he pulls a gun out. I feel my heart stop for a second but then I close my eyes seeing my left flash past me and I smile, yes I smile. I smile at the fact that I can't finally be with my family, I smile at the fact I have lost, I smile at the fact I've lost myself and I don't care, but I mostly smile at the fact I can feel happiness where I am, the wind blowing in my hair and the sound of water. I lift my hands up taking in the wind and my smile growing, I keep my eyes closed until I get a gunshot, but I don't fall. I open my eyes and see the vampire laying on the ground blood everywhere I look up and see Logan standing there "you scared me Luna" he says as he walks closer "you saved me AGAIN" I say laughing he looks away "you looked like you..." he started but trailed off "like having a gun pointed at me and having no chance of surviving" i say laughing he nodded "I did..." I say looking away I feel him getting closer, the closest he's been to me in 5 years I close my eyes as he gets closer. "You shouldn't" he whispers, as I giggle, he stands even closer "Logan I-" I start but I'm cut of by his soft lips, I find myself kissing him back, after awhile I pull away "Logan I can't, I have a boyfriend" I say looking down. He lifts my chin with his index finger "don't lie to yourself" he says pulling me in again wrapping his arms around me making me feel safe.
"Get your filthy hands off my girlfriend" I hear as I hear a loud bang, Logan falls to the ground, I kneel down tears coming "LOGAN!" I yell as I feel someone pulling me off him "baby why would you kiss another guy?" Daniel says as he holds me up from my hair "you know I'm going to punish you then we are going where no one will find you" he says scaring me "w-what?" I ask confused. punish me? He starts punching me and I feel weak so I let him, I fall to the ground as he starts kicking me "s-stop" I whisper as I can faintly hear my wolf yelling at me 'your a wolf with alpha blood godamnit!' My wolf is yelling, I ignore her because I can't move, Daniel pulls me up by my hair and starts yelling at me, "LET HER GO!" I hear a familiar voice yelling, Logan. I hear a growl as Daniel drops me scared sh**less I turn my head and see Logan's huge black wolf towering over me, protecting me. "What the fuck are you?!" Daniel yells scared 'Luna stand up' my wolf yells 'don't be a child, do it for your father, for your mother, for your sister, for your girls but most of all do it for yourself' she yells. I close my eyes then open them, I stand up feeling myself heal, the prophecy is giving me power "what the fuck?" He asks confused, I feel like nothing even happened, I smirk at Daniel then run wolf "wha-" he just stands starring at me, then another wolf jumps from the bushes, a black and white wolf half the size of me but still big, it attacks Daniel leaving him dead then looks over at me, I stare into eyes I know far too well, Skyla.
