I walk through the woods constantly wiping my tears. I turn wolf and run, I attack anyone and anything that gets in my way. I'm angry, no longer upset... I hate being so weak in these moments. I'm over it!
I turn human and walk into the bar, I order drink after drink until I've made myself sick. I sit out the back of the bar vomiting and promising myself I'm never drinking this much again.
I wipe my mouth and stumble back into the bar, I sit in a small booth and take a deep breath. 4 girls stumble over to me "hey I'm Emily, this is Jasmine, Caitlin and Ashley... it's my hens night tonight and I'm getting married in 2 days" she says excited, I nod "That's nice, I'm Skyla" I say wearily. Emily giggles "so we are playing hens games, right now I'm being dared to do things I will probably regret in the morning" she says I just nod and laugh. "Anyway we dared her to kiss you" Ashley says getting to the point, Emily blushes nervously, I chuckle "well better get it over an done with" I say. She leans down and starts kissing me, I kiss her back tongue and all. I pull away and she blushes "Your a really good kisser" she says giggling all her friends crack up laughing. "I'm serious, kiss her" Emily says looking at her friends. Jasmine looks at her weirdly and politely declines so does Caitlin. Ashley however smirks "sure" she says confidently I chuckle. I put my hands on her cheeks then start kissing her, she kisses back. She doesn't pull away and Emily laughs "Jesus Ash you have a boyfriend" Emily says, I pull away and laugh. "Is that classified as cheating?" She asks concerned, I shake my head "nah, it's a hens night... you have to go all out" I say smiling she gives me a thankful smile. "What about you Skyla, do you have a boyfriend?" Ashley asks I nod. "Why are you so upset looking?" Emily asks I look away "I had a fight with my boyfriend" I say thinking about the look in Aaron's eyes, the darkness or anger. I look up at the girls and they have sat down in my booth. "Okay you need to lighten up, I dare you to go give that guy over there your bra" Emily says pointing at a guy that's facing the other way. He turns and I see it's Alexander, "I can't, I know him... his my friend" I say Emily grins "good now go do your dare" she insists, I sigh "fine" I say undoing my bra from behind and pulling it from under my t-shirt. "I get to dare you to do something next" I say to Emily as I stand up and walk to Alex.
"Hey, Sky!" He says excited, I pass him my bra "why are you giving me your bra? Like not complaining but I thought you still liked Aaron" he says smirking, I chuckle "I am back with Aaron but a bride dared me and I didn't want to disappoint her" I say he frowns "you got back with Aaron after everything?" He asks I just nod "you can do so much better then that jerk" Alex says looking me in the eye "that's none of your business" I say crossing my arms "well I'm making it my business" he says I frown, "how can you make it your business?" I ask annoyed but he grabs my hips and spins me so I'm leaning against the bar counter, he leans in and kisses me slowly and passionately. I push him off me "by doing that" he says grinning. "Your a dick" I say slapping his shoulder, "I'm sorry Sky but I've wanted to do that since I first lay eyes on you" he says, I move so I'm no longer leaning on the counter "Alex I have a boyfriend, Your a dick to think kissing me would make me love you, your my friend" I say as I start walking back to the booth "ouch" he whispers.
"Got some tongue" Emily says laughing, "I don't feel any better, I feel worse" I say looking at the ground. "I'm sorry Skyla" Emily says. I don't want to ruin her night, "I dare you to go buy that guy a drink, an you have to be flirty" I say pointing at the ugliest guy at the bar. "He is so hot" Emily says sarcastically as she walks towards him, we all giggle.
I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket, I look at it and Aaron's calling me. I put my phone on the table ignoring it, "wanna get some drinks?"Ashley asks the girls nod "I'm good" I say staring at my phone that's still vibrating. "Okay I'll be back" Ashley says walking off.
"Who is it?" Jasmine asks, "my mum" I say completely lying, she nods.
I look at my phone and I see a heap of messages from Aaron;
Lila please answer we need to talk.
Lila I'm being serious, answer my call.
Skyla please please answer I need to talk to you, I love you.
Please give me a chance.
Please answer baby
I sigh "I need to take this call" I say standing up and walking out to the street.
I answer Aaron's call;
A: baby I was so worried
S: no you weren't.
A: Lila... please come to my house.
S: fine but only because I want to set things right.
A: of course baby, I'll see you soon.
S: yep bye
A: I love you
I hang up and go tell the girls I have to go, Emily gives me her number and invites me to her wedding. I leave and walk to Aaron's house feeling unsafe and vulnerable.
I walk into his room and it's trashed, I stare at Aaron, he runs over to me and hugs me, I flinch and my muscles are tense as he hugs me.
"Lila..." he whispers as he realises I'm scared of him. He puts his hands on my cheeks and I can see tears forming in his eyes, he leans his forehead against mine. Usually this is romantic and it makes me feel safe but not today, I feel different. I push him away but he holds my hand tight, "please just tell me that you love me, you are killing me lila" Aaron pleads but I just look down. The rooms silent, I look up at him and his got tears running down his cheeks. It kills me to see him like this "Aaron I-i do love you but I need space" I whisper he looks at me deeply, "of course baby, when your ready please come and talk to me" Aaron says sadly. He raises his hand and I flinch closing my eyes, when I open my eyes I see nothing but hurt in Aaron's eyes. "I-I was just going to move your hair f-from your face" He says with his voice cracking, "I'm sorry" I whisper as I turn and leave. I can't watch him cry and break. I just feel different and want time.
