I wake up in my bed, Logan is sitting in a chair beside me "what happened?" I ask he shrugs and looks out my window at Skyla's old shooting range. I sigh, "she's gone... again" I whisper to myself as Logan looks at my door, "I need to go, I'll see you later... okay?" He says as I nod. 'Luna...' my wolf whispers I just block her out, I look up at the ceiling and pull my legs up to my chest, I start crying. Not because I'm weak, not because my girls got away again but because I now know that I will find them, and that gives me enough strength to be able to be happy.
2 hours later~ I get out of bed and get dressed, I walk upstairs to Logan's office, he's not there so I go to his room. I enter his room but he's not there, I noticed a few papers on his bed so I go have a look; I find a paper that looks like song lyrics, I have a quick read and already know who the songs about, Song at the top of this chapter; Paper crown, by Elec Benjamin.

I jump when I feel two hands grab into my waist "didnt your mother ever teach you not to go snooping in other peoples stuff" I hear Logan say, I turn around Logan still holding my waist "did you write this?" I ask as he nods "who are they about?" I ask as he bites his lip "what makes you think they are about someone?" He asks grabbing the lyrics from my hands "because I can tell" I say as he laughs "you can tell? Then can you *tell* me who they are about if your so smart" he says joking around I nod "yeah, they are about me." I say smirking he completely freezes "how- did you..?" He asks shy I giggle "come on the lyrics have my name all over them like 'all she is is compromised' 'she built her walls too high'" I say as he nods "yeah I guess" he answers, I look at my feet "can you sing it to me?" I ask nervously he's silent for a moment "no" he says abruptly as he shoves the lyrics into his draw "please?" I beg he looks over at me, he then shakes his head "if you sing that to me I'll give you a kiss" I say smirking but once again he shakes his head "come on" I say getting frustrated "you know I'll hold a knife to your Throat if you don't sing it" I say crossing my arms he laughs "if you kill me then I can't sing it though" he says knowing his winning "I hate you" I say trying to look annoyed but I crack up laughing. He looks at me thinking "you said you will give me a kiss if I sing" he says smirking "mhmm" I smirk back, he steps closer to me starting into my eyes, I grab the lyrics from his draw without him noticing and as he is inches away I shove them in his face laughing "seriously Luna?" He asks annoyed "sing" I say abrupt, he sighs and sits me down on the bed, "a paper crown, a heart made of glass, a tattered gown in a kingdom of ash, she walks alone, she can never look back" he sings the whole song making me smile "you have a great voice" I say hugging him. He pulls away from the hug and places his forehead on mine, I stare into his eyes, he is about to kiss me when I hear a voice behind him "Alpha" he pulls away and turns to the girl standing in the doorway "yes Selena?" He asks frustrated "sorry to disturb you but we are in need of a new beta the packs going crazy" She says scared, Logan growls "I know" he says, Selena turns around then looks back at us "sorry for ruining your moment" she says scared "don't worry you didn't ruin anything, we weren't doing anything important" Logan said shoving the lyrics into his draw "oh good" she says leaving closing the door behind her. Logan turns and looks at me, I cross my arms and look at him annoyed "what?" He asks crossing his arms "don't worry you didn't ruin anything, we weren't doing anything important" I say mimicking his words to the Selena girl. He sighs "seriously?" He asks I stare at him annoyed "it's not like we are together we were just playing around don't get all grumpy" he says looking uninterested, seriously here is his old personality showing, his jerk side. "Then stop playing with my feelings" I say slapping him, I storm out slamming the door behind myself.
I sit in my bed playing games on my phone till I hear a knock on my door "come in" I say as the Selena girl walks in, she looks at my room in awe "how's your room so big?" She asks amazed I giggle "my father was the alpha" I say she looks back at me "I've heard" she says giving me a smile "I'm Selena" she says I nod "I'm Luna" I say she nods "anyway I wanted to talk to you about Logan" she says, "sure come in" I say as she closes the door and walks over to my bed, I sit up and pay the spot beside me signaling for her to sit there, she wearily sits down, "so what did you want to tell me?" I ask as she reflexes into the bed "he has serious trust issues, his built his walls so high, the fact that his getting close to you is huge, don't blow it. Sometimes he will push you away and treat you like your just another person, but I can see he would do anything for you, he really loves you" she says I just freeze, he... loves me? "You probably don't believe me but yesterday he ran off through the woods looking for you because he was worried" she said smiling "don't push him away because I can tell you feel the same for him" she says making me think about it. "who are you anyway?" I ask as she giggles "I'm Logan's assistant along with my twin brother" she says, "you have a twin?" I ask, she nods, "how old are you?" I ask, she giggles "I'm 15" she says giggling, she's so young to be working for such a grumpy jerk "I have a daughter that's 14" I say she smiles "really?" She sounds excited "wait so why were you kissing Logan?" She asks sounding like she thinks I'm cheating on the father "my fiancé passed" I say looking down, "I'm so sorry" I hear her say lightly "all good, anything else you wanted to tell me?" I ask as she thinks for a second "yeah. go for it" She says, I sigh "I don't know if I'm ready, or if I feel Logan in that way" I say as she laughs, "yes you do" she says abruptly, I look at her confused "sorry I forgot, I have a gift. I can read peoples true emotions and feelings" She says smiling "that's why I came and talked to you, I can see how you feel about him and I can see how he feels about you" she says, I'm amazed "wow really?!" I ask she nods giggling "but be careful around my brother he can read minds" she says grinning "it's basically impossible to hide something from him" she says laughing I laugh too "thank you" I say as she stands up "anytime" she says, I noticed today she was scared while talking to Logan, should I ask? "Are you scared of Logan?" I ask as she freezes "n-no" she whispers, I sigh "please lie" I say as she turns back to me "he doesn't mean to be scary, it's just his personality" I say as she gives me a smile "I know" she says as she walks out. Poor girl, I'd hate to work for Logan.
