2 weeks later Lexis 3rd birthday~~
I sit in the centre of my bedroom starring at my wall. tears flooding my eyes so much so I can't see, I can't see my own life crumbling in front of me, I can't see that I have no one left. I close my eyes and think about the fact I never spent time with Skyla and Alexa like I should have and I should have known too, I should have known they would be taken from me too like the rest of my family has been, but I still once again took them for granted and how much I wish I could just hug them once more.
I open my eyes and see my walls closing in on me, I feel like I'm suffocating and there's nothing left that I can do, I want my girls back, I want my father back, I want my mother back and I want my sister back... is that too much to ask?
I stand up but fall back to my knees, I'm over being weak yet that's all I am.
I stand up and walk to my bathroom, I rummage through the draws, then run into my room and rummage through my bedroom draws till I find my gun, yes I own a gun. I grab the gun and put to my head as my arms shake and my eyes are clouded with tears, is this the best solution to my problems? No. Do I want this? Absolutely.
5 hours earlier~~
I wake up to Lexi pulling me out of bed "Mwummy it's mwi bifday" she yells as she jumps up and down, "it is" I say sitting up "yessss!" She yells really excited, "go to the kitchen and I'll see you there with your birthday present" I say getting up, she runs out almost tripping over herself, it makes me laugh. She's been my only source of happiness in the last few weeks as Skyla has been in coma for 2 weeks and I know why... I don't want to believe it but I know when her eyes open they will be red and she will be thirsty for blood, I use to have a weird obsession with vampires before they were evil so I know everything about them.
I walk to Skylas room and sit on her bed,I place my hand on hers and her eyes open making me jump. Her eyes are a deep red, and her skin is a bit paler, it pains me to see my daughter a vampire. I sigh as she looks around confused but also scared, "mummy what's wrong with me?" She asks scared "nothing's wrong with you princess" I answer but she shakes her head "then why do I feel like I want to hurt you" she asks her voice trembling, "you don't want to hurt me" I say giving her a reassuring smile "mummy I can't.." she says as she looks down at my leg, I also look down to see her nails deep in my thighs and blood dripping out, how did I not feel that earlier? I ask myself, "it's alright" I say as I put her hair behind her ear "mummy I'm sorry" she says scared "why are you-" I start but I stop once Skyla has launched on me and is attacking me, she gets to my neck and bites me, it's painful but I put the pain past me and pull her off me, I'm still stronger then her. She closes her eyes as I sit her on her bed, when she opens her eyes they are a lighter red, she was just thirty. "I'm sorry mum I couldn't control it" she whispered "it's alright baby, you get some rest okay, I'll get some animal blood so you don't go attacking us" I say giggling, she gives me a great full smile and I walk out.
I walk to the kitchen and sigh as I see the pack all sitting playing video games, Logan's sitting by the counter plying with Lexi. I approach them and hand Lexi a big bag, yes I've been lost my happiness from my father dying but I wouldn't want to her to loose hers.
"Yay!" She yells as she starts opening everything on the ground "thank two mwummmy" she says excited, I can see Logan smiling at me but I'm distracted, I don't put it into attend. "Mwummy, for my bifday I wanted Skywa to wake up" she says playing with all her toys "I know you did princess" I say hugging her, I know I lied but I can't be like 'oh yeah she's awake just if ya go in there she'll probably eat you, lolz don't worry everything will be good' na I can't say that. She sits back down and I look over at the pack playing video games I watch the screen carefully 'go right!' My wolf yells and I think the exact same thing, but of course the pack member goes left... and dies. I laugh and put my attention back on Lexi she's having fun. "Alpha can I speak to you" I say to Logan he looks at me confused "oh yeah sure". Me and Logan haven't talked since my father died I've only been talking with Lexi.
We walk to somewhere more private. "You know you don't have to call me Alpha, and what do you need?" He says I sigh "my father once told me the Alpha is to be respected no matter who they are or who you are" I say looking past him "but then my your my future bride" he says grinning I roll my eyes "no, actually. I'm now free of marriage as my father passed" I say looking down, he also looks down, "yeah, I uhh guess so, but you know why your father wanted-" he started but stopped when I was death starring him "okay yeah you scare me" he says chuckling, I giggle "okay but the reason I wanted to talk to you" I say abruptly, he gives me a small nod "yeah?" He asks, I bite my lip "well Skyla is awake.... and uhh" I start he looks at me content. I look down at my leg that's still dripping with blood with nail marks and move my hair from my neck so he can see the bite mark. He gasps "shit I can fix that up for you" he says worried, "it's fine" I say as he looks at me thinking, what the hell is he thinking? "But I need animal blood" I finish as he nods knowing what I mean. "Come with me" he says I just ignore him and go back to Lexi "your father once told you to respect the alpha no matter who they are and who you are" he says grabbing my arm I turn "touché" I say turning around he grins, "come on" he says I follow him "don't take me to a dungeon or anything" I say giggling he laughs "oh that's what we were going to do" he says sarcastically.
We walk to his room. "Sit" he says in his alpha voice which kinda turns me on, I smirk at him and he just looks away, whys he so distant? "Are you alright?" I ask him Ashe looks back at me "yeah" he answers.
"Agh sheeeeat" I yell as he puts stinging stuff in my cuts, oh wait it has a name, let me rephrase that,
"Agh sheeeeat" I yell as he puts rubbing alcohol on my cuts "well aren't you so tuff" he says laughing "it's the stinging stuff, it hurts. Keep talking and I'll rip your head off" I yell as he try's not to laugh, after awhile his done and stands up "thanks" I say bitting my lip, he just smiles and walks out 'Luna, go for it' my wolf says to me knowing what im thinking "Logan..." I say as he turns around "not Alpha anymore?" He asks smirking "uh.. ahah" I giggle as he walks up to me "what do you need?" He asks "you" I say before grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him down kissing him, "Luna" he says pulling away, leaving me confused he walks off, what's his problem?
I walk out and to the kitchen, sitting down with Lexi.
I cants stop thinking about Logan, but why? I'm not over Toby and Logan obviously hates me. But I can't get him out of my mind, and that split second we kissed for is making me want more.
I'm taken from my thoughts when I hear the door.
I walk to the door and answer it to a young lady, she's pregnant and I feel like I shouldn't have opened the door "could I speak to Luna?" She asks I just blink at her "who are you and why are you here?" I ask annoyed, "well I've had word from a close family member to you that your not in a good state to have kids" the lady says, I laugh at her "yeah I'm in a great state" I say annoyed "Luna I'm here to take your girls" the lady says holding up some studies badge, "no your not" I say as I punch her, but for some reason I feel the punch instead and she laughs at me "you see I know your a wolf and that they are wolfs, they will go to a wolf family and you can't stop me because anything you try to do to me will reflect on you" she says laughing at me, "no you can't do this, what if this happened to your child?!" I yell she looks back at me annoyed "I don't have a child hun" she says as the baby bump just disappears "you... i... no...!!" I yell running after her Lexi runs down and I scream inside "meummy I made a papwa airplane with Logwan" she says excited, the lady grabs her arm "your coming with me, where's your sister?" She says I fall to my knees because there's nothing left I can do "meummy?" Lexi asks confused I feel tears coming "princess know I will always love you but I can't stop this mean lady, she's taking you and I can't fight back" I say as the lady turns around and kicks me "shut up" she yells "but mwummy your strong" Lexi yells "I'm weak" I whisper. They barge into Skylas room. Skyla stares at them smirking "I need backup one is a vampire" the lady says in her walkie talkie.
They pull me away while they push the girls into their car "I love you, please stay safe, know that I never wanted this" I whisper knowing they heard because they have alpha hearing and because Skylas a vampire now.
"Who now?" The lady asks a dude that's standing with her "a girl named Midnight, her daughter Dawn also wolf, she lives at ********** and we might be able to go there on the way back because apparently her daughter is these ones cousin." The guy says she nods and then leaves.
They just drop me and leave me on the floor "I need to warn Midnight" I scream to myself but I can't hear it because all I hear is the buzzing in my ears and the I can see darkness taking over.
