I celebrate with them until 5 am when I see the sun rising, "I have to go" I say they all nod, they understand the whole time I've been thinking about my family.
"Be careful out there, I'm not saving your ass again" Zane says sarcastically "you love me" I say walking out he chuckles "go get your guy!" Alison yells out.
I'm weak from the fight last night and I cants seem to turn so I have to walk, I'm also half asleep because I've been up since the day before my escape, I find my self pass out beside a tree.
I wake up and check my new phone Zane gave me, its 8:30, I fell asleep for 3 and a half hours and I feel good.
I continue walking home when I smell Dawns scent, I run over following her scent until I see her leaning against a tree crying "DAWNNN!" I yell, she just stares at me "why you crying?" I ask as I walk up to her "your not real go away!" She yells as she pulls her knees up to her head and cry's "Dawn look at me, I'm sorry I disappeared I didn't really have a choice" I say leaning down to her "s-s-Sky-Skyla" She stutters tears still running down her face "yeah who else would I be? Donald Trump?" I ask sarcastically, Dawn stands up punches my face weakly "yup... I deserved that" I say giggling, Dawn hugs me, "how is everything?" I ask, Dawn gets up grabs my hand and starts running somewhere, actually I recognise where we are headed "the cemetery?" I ask confused.
As we get there I see all my friends and family standing around a coffin "this is how everything is" Dawn says sadly "who died?" I ask, Dawn glares at me "when did I die?!" I ask confused, "no one could smell your scent, anyway so they think your dead I was the only one who didn't think it" Dawn says looking at the ground "seriously, doesn't anyone watch the news these days?" I say sarcastically "I'm sorry Dawn" I say hugging her, "I have an idea" Dawn says looking at me smiling "wanna crash a party?" She asked laughing "they are partying on my death?! Wow that's cold... I'd love too" I say smiling.
I smirk at Dawn then chant a few words. I teleport myself to be sitting on my tombstone.
I teleport and everyone's faces go white "you guys look like you e seen a ghost" I say sarcastically. It's silent... "what up?" I say making conversation, I roll my eyes and stand up "you guys gave up on me and I wasn't even dead" I say annoyed, I look over and see Aaron, I then notice a really pretty girl holding his hand and laying her head on his shoulder. Me and Aaron's eyes meet and the girl notices "oh no" Dawn whispers, the girl pulls Aaron down and kisses him... I feel my heart break and my world fall before me. I quickly get up and run into the woods tears flooding my eyes. I fall against a tree pulling my knees to my chest and bury my head in my knees..
I feel someone sit down beside me and a scent I missed so much floods my nose. I stand up and go to run off but he grabs my waist "Skyla" he says I slap his face "Your a fucking jerk, I disappear and you just move on like I was nothing" I yell, he sighs "I know and I'm sorry, I thought you were dead" he says, I look away "Well I'm not.. while you were messing around with with another girl I was thinking about you, you were keeping sane I thought I meant something to you" I say with with tears falling down my cheeks "I didn't know, I'm sorry" he whispers "I don't care, live your life happy with her, she's beautiful. I'm turning myself into the police because I can't be here" I say with my voice cracking, I pull his shirt collar down kissing his passionately like it's our first and last kiss, like it's goodbye, but it is. I can taste my own tears but maybe his crying too, I finally pull away and I can see his crying too, I stare into his eyes "I'll always love you" I whisper, I notice Dawn being held down by Aaron's new girlfriend, they are in wolf form and Dawns dying, I push past Aaron and try to turn wolf form but I can't, I'm too weak so I just jump on top of Aaron's new girlfriend and push her to the tree using all my vampire strength, I start attacking her until I smell Zane's scent "shit" I whisper, I get off the girl and look at Dawn "will you be okay?" I ask, "y-y-yeah" she says trying to catch her breath, "Skyla!" I hear behind me Zane's standing there and Aaron is looking at him confused "come on the police saw you, we have to go" he says worried, "no" Dawn yells, "I don't care, I want to go back to prison" I say stern "but I went to so much effort getting you out" he whines "fine" I say, I turn to Dawn and she's crying "I'm gonna stay with Zane for a week or so I'll visit you, I can't explain everything now but watch the news and remember Shayla Lockwood, everything will be clear then, also sorry for lying" I say smiling, 'blood' Dawn mindlinks me saying 'I'll go hunting while they are asleep, I'm only gonna be there until things clear up' I mindlinks Dawn while smiling, "who the fucks he" Aaron asks stern "no one you need to know an why the fuck do you care?" Dawn says, Zane looks at him grinning "is this the guy you always talk about?" He asks whispering, "sadly, his no one now though" I say looking over at him sadly Dawn gets up and hugs me, I hug her back 'I'll see you Tomorrow' I mindlink her, "lets go" Zane says putting his arm around my waist, I know what his playing at, his trying to make Aaron jealous because he knows that I still love Aaron and his trying to get Aaron to realise he feels the same. Dawn laughs.
We start to walk off but I hear my name being called, I turn and Alexis is running up to me, she throws her arms around me hugging me "I missed you" she whispered, she then pulls me down to her level, as I'm way taller then her and whispers in my ear "I saw dad" she whispers, I gasp "does mum know?" I ask she shakes her head "Logan's mums mate but dad put a spell on them to not feel the connection" she whispers my eyes go wide "I'll tell you about it tomorrow" she said knowing I had to go "bye, I love you" I say hugging her again, her face lights up "I love you too" she says before running off.
Zane's arm goes back around my waist but it doesn't fuss me his like a brother to me.
"Get your hands off her!" Aaron yells, Zane turns and raises his eyebrow "I'll fucking kill you" Aaron says, I face palm, Zane lifts his leather jacket revealing a gun "do you know who your messing with kid?" Zane's asks, Aaron just looks at the gun not to fussed "the names Zane Santini" Zane says, Aaron gasps "Skyla his a dangerous man!" Aaron yells "I know, I'm part of his gang... he has my back don't wirry" I say as me and Zane walk off.
