It's been 2 weeks since Aaron and Ariana broke up. I've tried to talk to Aaron but he never talks to me, I started to get sicker where I was vomiting a lot. At first I thought I may be pregnant but when I took a pregnancy test it said otherwise, I decided to go to the doctor thinking I had some flu or something where I could get medication... but I didn't. I have depression, I'm making myself sick. Dawns left and moved to the city something to do with breaking up with Peter but I didn't know they were even together.
I walk home not looking where I'm going I just stare at the ground. I get home and walk in to see everyone staring at me. I cross my arms as I see a sign that says 'CONGRATS SKYLA' I sigh "I'm not pregnant" I say defensively. My mum walks over to me "I know hunny" she says nodding I roll my eyes "what's this for then?" I ask she smiles "because my darling you are now the Beta of our pack" she says excited, I fake smile "yay woo hoo... can I go yet?" I say emotionless my mum shakes her head "you can have my fathers old office, he'd want you to" she says I shrug. I walk to my room and open my phone staring at my lock screen, a picture of Aaron & I kissing. I close my eyes "Why?" I ask as I cry into my pillow.
I finally drag myself out of bed and get changed.

I walk out of the house and I catch a bus into town. I stop at the tattoo parlour and walk in smirking, "what do you want princess? A little love heart on your wrist?" The lady at the counter says bitchy, I chuckle and roll my eyes "Your Skyla, Midnights niece... Midnight was Cordelia daughter" a guy says walking up behind the bitchy girl, I smirk "indeed" I say crossing my arms, he grins "how's the gun?" He asks obviously talking about my gun tattoo his the one that tattooed it. "Good" I say lifting my t-shirt "I did great on it" He says admiring his work, I nod. "I wanna get my tongue pierced" I say grinning, he nods "I can do that" he says as he walks out from the counter and leads me to a small room. He sits me down and gets everything ready.

I thank him and leave.
I walk through town just staring at all the unfamiliar faces passing by, thinking about the fact they all have a different life... a different story. It's funny to think there's billions of different people in this world.
I start walking home when I see a familiar face "Ryder!" I yell as I see him walking alone on the side street. He walks over to me pulling me into the alley way. "Dude what the hell?!" I yell he covers my mouth and looks around like there's something going on. "Skyla you shouldn't be here" he whispers, I push him off me "what's going on?" I ask he sighs and looks around again "there's a gang of vampires here looking for you & Dawn..." he says nervously, I shrug "so?" I ask he rolls his eyes and looks at me like I'm not taking him seriously. I hear someone coming and Ryder does too, he looks around the corner then quickly pushes me against the wall kissing me. Once the person walking past is gone he pulls away and smirks "nice piercing" he says, I chuckle as I try catching my breath "sorry I had to make us not look suspicious we are already in an alley way" he says I nod and continue leaning against the wall with one leg up. He walks out and looks around "you'd protect me though... wouldn't you?" I ask he turns and walks towards me, he lifts my chin and stares at me then my lips then me... I gulp "Skyla of course i'd always protect you, you mean everything to me" he whispers as he slowly starts kissing me pinning my arms above me on the wall. He starts kissing my neck when I hear someone coming, "Ryder" I whisper, he moves to my ear still holding my hands above my head on the wall. "Shhhh" he whispers into my ear, I feel my breathing pick up. He nibbles on my ear lobe "Ryder" I lightly moan as he let's go of my hands and runs his hands over my body slipping his hand up my t-shirt playing with my bra strap. I wrap my arms around his neck and start kissing him when I hear someone saying my name.
"Skyla."
My eyes dart open and I pull away from Ryder who is now holding my hips. "Aaron?" I ask as I see Aaron standing at the end of the alley way with his arms crossed
