#106 in Chick-Lit & #314 in Humor! Thank you!

I accidentally changed chapter 19 to private and can't figure out how to change it back, so unfortunately, you have to fan me to read the chapter after this one! After you're done, you can un-fan me, I don't care, but I'm just giving you a head's up! It's only chapter 19 that's private. The rest aren't!

Louis POV

"You'd better elaborate before I walk out of your life right now. Although there is a pretty big chance of that happening either way."

I looked away when I saw a tear fall from her eye. I wanted to tell her the rest, but I wasn't really sure that'd make a difference. Josh was right. There was a reason that I hadn't told her; it's because I knew she was going to leave me. I don't think we're strong enough to overcome this.

"First things first, Reagan. I wasn't aware that I'd been sleeping walking to her flat, and for that, I apologize."

"You weren't aware at all?"

"No", I said honestly, "I'm only aware that I sleepwalk when I wake up in a new place."

"I believe you. But, that doesn't explain why it's her that you're sleepwalking to. Why not me, Louis? Why not your wife?"

"Reagan, do we really have to do this? I-."

Before I even finished the sentence, she was standing up. Not even bothering to look at me, she grabbed the keys and headed for the door. We probably should keep our voices down because Bentley was asleep upstairs.

"Prin-, Reagan, what are you doing?"

"I'm leaving", she said without hesitation.

"Why? We've barely started talking."

Part of me hoped that she would leave because then this would be over. But, something told me that if she left, she wasn't coming back. And, I wasn't sure I could handle that. Scratch that. I'm positive that I can't handle that.

"Louis, I asked you to explain everything to me, and you just hesitated. I'm not in the mood. If you don't want to explain yourself, then I'll move in with Trinity."

"You would leave me?"

She didn't turn to face me, but I could see her shaking. She wasn't the only one.

"I asked you to explain yourself, L-."

"Okay!"

She couldn't walk out. Not until she heard everything that I've done. Then, she could decide for herself.

"Okay, you'll tell me?"

"Yes, just plea-. Please, don't go."

She dropped her hand from the door and turned around. The look on her face looked so hurt, and she didn't even know anything yet. Crap.

"Start. Talking. The next time you don't want to talk about something, I won't hesitate to leave."

Her voice faltered on the word "leave", and I hoped that was a sign that she didn't want to. Without another word, she walked back into the living room. This time, she didn't take her place on the couch; she sat in the chair. I wanted to, but I didn't complain. Instead, I sat back on the couch and looked at the ground. Might as well start now.

"Reagan, the reason I sleepwalk is because of my nightmares."

"I know", she responded.

"Wait, you know?"

"Louis, you scream every Friday night in your sleep, then you sleepwalk, or sometimes drive, to her house. I knew that something was triggering that. I don't blame you for having nightmares. I have no idea what they are of, but they must be bad. I blame you for not feeling you can come talk to me about it. Instead, you talk to your ex-girlfriend? Come on, Lou. No part of you should've thought that was okay."
