Reagan POV

"Lily, honey, you have got to sit down somewhere."

Sam's daughter would not listen to him at all. She had been running around the church for the past 10 minutes after she had been told countless times not to. She wasn't even my child, and I was close to scolding her. And, by scolding I mean beating the crap out of her.

"She's obviously not listening", I told him, "Why did you bring her anyway?"

"She's on Spring Break, and I couldn't get in touch with Chandler."

"Ever heard of a thing called daycare?"

"I couldn't get there in time. Piss off. She'll be fine. We only have about an hour left here."

"So, where would I be standing?"

Josh walked up to where the altar was supposed to be and grabbed Taylor's hand. They had finally picked a venue, and we were planning out everyone's seating. 3 months left. Their wedding was getting close!

"You would stand here", Sam said, moving him around, "and Taylor stand here. The bridesmaids and groomsmen would be behind you."

"Speaking of which", Taylor spoke up, "Josh, who is your best man?"

As they discussed their placement, I sat down beside a very annoying 5-year old. Lily kept trying to play with my hair. Normally, I wouldn't mind, but considering my hair was in a perfect fishtail braid, I didn't want her chubby little hands messing with it.

"Leave me alone, little girl."

"You're not nice", she pouted.

She folded her arms across her chest, something I always scolded Liz about doing. I had the urge to pinch her, but I fought it. For now.

"What's not nice is the fact that you're giving your daddy a hard time when all he asked you to do was sit here quietly."

"I want my other daddy right now."

"You can't have him. He won't answer the phone."

"So?! I want him!"

Commence pinching in about 20 seconds if she doesn't shut up. I am losing my patience.

"You can't have him!"

"Reagan!", Sam interrupted, "Dont-."

"No, Sam. She needs to hear this!"

I saw Josh fighting a smile, and Taylor was texting away on her phone. Should I be screaming at a child that wasn't even mine? Probably not. But, I was over being rational.

"Your daddy is doing the best he can!", I told her, "Your other dad has already put him through a lot, and the last thing he needs is for his daughter to blatantly ignore what he says! This is all your other dad's fault anyway! If Chandler hadn't be fuc-."

"Okay, okay!"

Josh walked over and put his hands on my shoulders. It calmed me down a little bit, and I realized my mistake.

"You can teach her a lesson", Josh whispered in my ear, "but you can't scar her for life. Also, watch your language. We're in a church."

Lily looked like she was in tears, and I felt a little badly. Only a little. I still stood by the things that I said. But, they probably should have been said a little differently.

"Where's Sam?", I asked, standing up and away from that child.

"He burst into tears and walked out. I think all the stress he's been under with trying to sell their house, find some place else to live, plan these weddings, and take care of Lily finally got to him."
