Reagan POV
"Happy Birthday!"
I woke up to 2 very annoying, but also very adorable, guys leaning over me. Zayn and Josh were holding a cake that read 'Happy Birthday Doll', and they had huge grins on their faces. It was hard not to smile back.
"How did you know?" I asked them as I ran my hand through my hair.
I looked horrible right now considering the fact that I had just woken up, but if I looked unappealing to either one of them, neither showed it.
"Avery told me", Josh shrugged.
"What ever happened to her?" Zayn asked, "I liked her. She was cute."
Josh and I both exchanged glances but said nothing. Zayn had been noticing Avery's disappearance more and more over the past few weeks. We had just told him that she was taking some time to herself, but I had never been a good liar. Lucky for me, he believed Josh. But, I wasn't going to let that ruin my birthday. For once, today was all about me.
"So, get out of bed, Lazy!" Zayn continued, "We have things to do today!"
"Like what?"
"That's for us to know and for you to...not know. Doesn't matter, Doll. Put some clothes on! We leave in 20 minutes!"
Even though I was a tad annoyed at the lack of information that I was just given, I did get out of bed when they walked out of the room. I hadn't expected to do anything for my birthday today because I hadn't told neither Josh nor Zayn, and it had fallen on a Wednesday. If Kadin were going to throw a party or something, she wasn't going to do it in the middle of the week. People had jobs.
As I climbed out of bed, pulling my shirt off in the process, I grabbed my phone off of the bedside table. Unsurprisingly, I had birthday texts. All of the boys and Trinity had texted me. Liam had actually texted me at 4:17 this morning, the exact time that I had been born. Leave it up to him to remember. All of their messages differed ranging from "Happy Birthday, Reagan! Love you babe. xx" all the way to "25 years ago, this world was cursed with your presence. Let's hope it's the last year." I'll let you guess whose is who.
I expected messages from the girls as the day continued and I was putting my phone down when it beeped again.
"Happy Birthday, baby. I love you, and even though I'm not there, I hope Josh does something great for you. You deserve that and more. You're 25 years of more beauty, intelligence, and wisdom than anyone else I've ever known. Once again, I love you, and I hope you have a great birthday. xx"
Obviously that was from Louis, and I honestly wasn't sure how to take that. Louis and I had been pretty cordial recently, but we had purposely avoided the 'l' word. To bring it up now was not something I wanted. After sending a thank you that I felt was appropriate in response, I threw my phone down and walked to the shower. I was determined to have a good day today, and whether or not that included Louis was up to him.

"Doll, you have to let go of the railings. You're not going to have any fun that way."
I was clutching onto this metal pole for dear life. When Zayn and Josh had told me that they were taking me out to do something fun, rollerblading was not something I had in mind. One reason was because I had never learned how to do it. I didn't have very great balance, and by the way that Josh snickered every now and then, he could tell.
"Mum, let go! That's no fun!"
The only enjoyable and very thoughtful thing that Josh had done was invite my children. He said he had invited Louis too, but by his tone, I knew that hadn't been a pleasant conversation. But, I wasn't going to dwell on that. My children were here. That's all I was concerned about.
