Reagan POV
"What do you think you're doing, Reagan?"
As soon as Louis spoke, I scrambled off of Josh, not caring about the note anymore. He made no motion to move off of the ground. Instead, he propped himself on one arm and turned to face the both of us. I hate him so much. He was just going to watch us and not say anything? Ugh. Louis looked at me, still waiting for an answer.
"Baby", I said, "it's not what it looked like."
"Well, I should hope not!” Lou responded, "If Josh were paying attention, he could've easily gotten out of that move."
"We were just-", I stopped, "Wait, what? What are you talking about?"
"Princess, I taught you that move. I can't have you making me look bad in front of company by doing it wrong."
Even Josh's mouth was wide open as was mine. Louis just walked in on his wife straddling another man, and his biggest concern is the move that I was doing? I'm extremely happy, a little put off...and deeply concerned.
"Are you trying to be funny?” I asked him.
"Not intentionally", he laughed, "Sometimes it just comes naturally. But, I would never joke about your self-defense skills, babe. Let's try it again. Get back on top of Josh."
"Yeah!” Josh finally spoke, "I mean, yeah. Let's try that move again. Whatever."
If Louis noticed Josh's enthusiasm, he didn't show it. He just walked over to me, smiling. I'm thinking I'm should take him to some kind of psychiatric hospital.
"Um, how about I try it with you this time?” I asked him.
He leaned in close to me. Josh tried to listen in, but he was unsuccessful.
"Let's just say if you were on top of me like that, your body wouldn't be the only thing in an upright position."
A shiver went through me, and I fought back a moan. Now was not the time or place to be getting me all hot and bothered.
"Now now", Louis focused again, "Reagan, get back on Josh. How did you two even get in that position in the first place?"
"I pinned her down while I was on top of her. She retaliated", Josh answered without hesitation.
I looked at Josh, silently cursing him for answering. Louis may be understanding about the first part, but there's no way-.
"Well, I'm proud of you for reacting", Louis patted me on the back, "But you shouldn't have given him time to pin you down anyway. Do you not remember anything I taught you?"
"I-I guess n-not."
"Don't stutter, Princess. It's not ladylike. Now, back on top of Josh so I can show you what you did wrong. Or better yet, lie down. Josh, get back on top of my wife. I'm going to show her how to get out of the move."
Is he serious? Louis can't be serious. Why is being so understanding?
"Hello?” Louis snapped his fingers in front of my face, "Chop chop, baby. As soon as I finish this, we have to bring the cake out, and Zayn is getting impatient. Now, on the floor Princess."
Josh looked at me, probably wondering the same thing that I was wondering. Has Louis utterly and completely lost his mind? When I looked at him, I saw nothing but sincerity on his face. But, why? A couple of days ago, he was ready to accuse me of cheating. And today, even though I wasn't cheating, we were caught in an odd position. And, Louis has nothing to say? How is that possible?
