"Mike, what are we doing here?" I asked him, he pushed the doors to the gymnasium open as we had our hands interlocked "I-I swear I saw him-that thing, what was his name?" He asked as he looked me in my eyes "Dart?" I asked in confusion and he nodded, just then, I heard the swinging of doors, I jumped as I saw the locker room doors swing back and forth "c'mon, let's go" he muttered as he tugged on my hand and walk toward the swinging doors. He cautiously walked into the locker room as he held my hand tightly "Micheal...I'm scared" I muttered "I know" he said in concern, he grabbed the nearby broom and held it out in front of him, He hid us both behind a few lockers and took a deep breath "ready?" He whispered, I nodded. He jumped out and muttered out a "hya!" He pointed the broom and just saw this new girl named Maxine, or Max. "What the hell are you doing?!" She asked as she looked at Mike, and then me "what are you doing? Why are you in here?!" He snapped "I'm looking for Dart" she said with a look that said 'duh' on her face, honestly, I don't get why Mike hates her, she might act rude, but she's actually a nice person! "This is the boys room!" He said as he glared at her "Yeah, so?" She asked "so you should go home" he said as he dropped the broom and let it hit the ground, I gave her a sympathetic look and muttered "I'm sorry", she nodded in understanding, Mike angrily pushed open the door and exited the locker room, with Max following "why do you hate me so much?" She asked him as he walked away from her "I don't hate you, how can I hate you? I don't even know you" He said with annoyance "yeah, but you don't want me in your party!" "Correct" "and who's this?" Max asked as she looked at me, Mike rolled his eyes "that doesn't matter." "Why not?" She asked, he turned around to face her "because you're annoying!" I gave him a look "Mike! Don't be so rude, she just wants to get along with you..." I tried to sympathize "so now you're siding with her?! "No Micheal."

"Also we don't need another party member! I'm our paladin, Will's our cleric, Dustin's our bard, Lucas is our ranger, and El's our mage!" "Then what is she?" Max asked as she pointed to me "Y/n's different! And I told you, it doesn't matter!" "Wow, thanks for excluding me Mikey" I rolled my eyes playfully and let go of his hand "what? Wait, Y/n, that's not what I meant!" He said sadly "I know, I'm kidding" I giggled as I reconnected our hands.

"El? Who's El?" She asked as she ignored me "someone, no one" Mike glared "So, someone or no one?" She asked as she started to raise her voice "she was in our party a long time ago! She moved away, okay?!" He yelled as he began to walk away again "she was a mage? What could she do, like magic tricks or something?" Max asked as she started to ride her skateboard, Mike started to ignore her "Well, I could be your zoomer!" She suggested "that's not even a real thing!" He said as he gave her a look "it could be!" She said as she started to circle the two of us while riding on her skateboard "see, zoomer!" "Mind blowing" He said sarcastically and I lightly hit his shoulder. "Oh, c'mon, you know you're impressed" she said and I smiled "I don't see any tricks, you're just going around in a circle" he commented "if it's so easy, why don't you try it?" "No!" "Why not?" "I don't know how!" They argued "so then, you admit it's complicated" she smirked "I think if I spent like, all day practicing I could" I sighed in annoyance, can't they just get along? "Okay, I get it, please just stop!" He sighed "I'll stop if you let me join your party" she said "c'mon, just stop!" "It's a simple question!" She said, but from there I stopped listening, my head started to get dizzy, I felt a force was pushing me, but it wasn't. I stood still, like the first time Eleven used her powers on me...

Mike slightly smiled as he watched Max skate, I slightly smiled as I watched the two, I still started to feel dizzy, Max smiled back as she continued to circle us, she did a few more tricks before she fell and landed on her back, I tried to run over to her but felt myself also fall to the ground, I held my head and groaned "Jesus! Are you alright?" He asked Max "yeah, yeah, I think so.." she mumbled, Mike grabbed her hand and helped her up. "What happened?" He asked her "I don't know, it was just like a magnet or something pulling on my board, I know that sounds crazy" she said in confusion, Mike thought for a second before I let out a loud groan, he looked at me and his eyes widened "Y/n! Are you alright? What's wrong?!" He asked as he picked me up, the pain started to fade and he sat me down on the bleachers, I sat up and he hurriedly sat next to me, Max also noticed and hurriedly rushes over to me "oh my god, are you alright?" She asked as she dropped her skateboard "I-I'm fine...I suddenly started to get dizzy, it was strange, my head started to hurt and everything was blurry" I mumbled as I laid my head onto Mike's chest, he caressed my head and we both looked toward the door "Eleven?" I whispered in his ear, he quickly nodded and rushed off, he pushed the door open and looked around, but saw nothing.
