Maxine Mayfield x Reader: A Little Scare...

"Why are the stalkers approaching us?" I whispered to my girlfriend, Maxine Mayfield, or Max.

She shrugged "who knows?" the two boys got closer to us "h-hi!" A curly headed boy greeted with a stutter, I lightly smiled at him "hey!" I replied back "so, we were wondering-" "since you two are new, and need new friends and since there's lots of bullies around-" "that you two needed someone to go trick or treating with" we looked at each other and smiled "how presumptuous of you" she nodded and tried to hold back her laughter "maybe, maybe not, it depends" I shrugged.

Max closed her locker and the two of us walked to our next class "I think they just want some new friends Max" I smiled "we don't need 'new friends' Y/n" "yes we do! All we have is each other" I muttered, she looked at me "is that bad?" She asked as she became saddened "of course not! I love you! It's just, having new people around wouldn't be so bad" she shrugged "I guess not" "why don't we take up their offer, let's go trick or treating with them!" She sighed "fine, but not without a little scare" she winked, I rolled my eyes "You're evil Max Mayfield" I giggled "but you still love me~" she chimed, I nodded "that I do."

              (Time Skip)

I sighed in relieve as the school day came to an end, I scurried out of my sixth period classroom and rushed to my locker, I stuck my books and binders inside it and grabbed my f/c backpack, I slammed the locker and walked over to Max's locker, luckily everyone that was in the hallway already left school to get ready for Halloween.

"Hey Max!" I smiled and kissed my girlfriends cheek "hi" she replied with a chuckle "so, what are you going as?" I asked the girl as we agreed to go as a couple "Micheal Myers from Halloween" she winked, I clapped "perfect!" I smiled "what about you?" She asked, I giggled "I'm going as Jason from Friday The 13th" I smiled at the strawberry blonde girl, she nodded "want to walk home together?" She asked,
I nodded excitingly.

           (Time Skip)

I had brought my costume over to Max's house as we agreed to meet up there, luckily Billy wasn't home yet. We were up in her room, talking about what we were going to do tonight (that sounded wrong...) "how are we going to find them, out of thousands of kids there?" I asked, she looked up at me "Y/n, they're a whole bunch of nerds wearing Ghostbusters costumes, I'm pretty sure it'll be easy to find them" I shrugged "I guess you're right" she chuckled.

(Another Time Skip)

I slipped on my costume and my white hockey mask, I turned around to see Max dressed in her Micheal Myers costume, I smiled "you look great!" "Yeah, I look great dressed as a serial killer" she rolled her eyes playfully "alright! You ready to go scare some kids?" She chuckled and nodded "okay then! Let's go!" I smiled and grabbed her hand.

We walked out of the door of her house and walked around to gathered a bit of candy "let's go look for the stalkers" "do you even know their names?" I asked the girl, she nodded "yes, but I like 'the stalkers' more" she laughed, I shook my head.

"Oh! Look! They're over there! Quick, hide!" "where?!" I whispered "I don't know? The bushes!" She whispered back,
I nodded, we quickly jumped into the bushes, the boys were distracted because they were all talking to each other "ready?" She whispered, I nodded.

We both jumped out the bushes and the boys screamed, we laughed and took off our masks, we high-fived each other and smiled "you should've seen the looks on your faces!" I said as I continued to laugh, Mike rolled his eyes, Will smiled lightly, and Dustin and Lucas grinned "and you, who screams like that? You sounded like a little girl!" Max laughed, we started to walk away "Well, are you coming or not?" I asked as I looked back at the boys, Dustin and Lucas smiled at each other and nodded, Mike looked annoyed and stayed behind, so did Will.

We gathered a bunch of candy and scared a few kids, it was getting late and most people stopped giving candy out, Max and I said goodbye to the boys and we walked back to her house.

"Tonight was fun" I giggled, she nodded and smiled "it was more fun since you were here with me" she winked playfully "agreed" I smiled back at the girl "you should go before Billy finds out" she sighed and rolled her eyes, I looked down sadly "alright" I whispered, I quickly kissed her soft lips "I love you" I grinned at the girl "I love you too Y/n, now go, I'll see you tomorrow" she smiled and waved, I waved back and started jogging home.
What a lovely person, I'm so glad she's mine.
