Chapter Twenty Nine

Masaru P.O.V.

I went to the penthouse lounge and saw the others were there.

"Hey guys! Whats up." I said. When they looked at me. They looked away quickly. "What are you doing here user?" Takahiro asked and stood up in front of me. "User?" "Uh yeah. For what you did to Daisuke, not acceptable." He added.

Wait did they knew?

"Sorry if your bothered about us being here. Were leaving." Eiji stood up even the others. "Hey its just a misunderstanding!" "What so you're saying that Daisuke is lying?" Aiko said. "But..."

"No buts!" Yuri added. Then they leave.

They all left.

I took a sigh. I can't believe I ruined it. "You know you can tell me everything." I turn around and saw Ayumi there. "Oh I thought you leave with them too?" "If this is about Daisuke. You can tell me." she said.

How come Ayumi is still so sweet? I thinks she wants everyone to get it over it. "Don't worry ill talk to them." She added. So i sat down beside her and I started to explain everything.

"So you're saying that. You're just pretending that you don't really care about Daisuke just to make Uncle Eisuke Proud?"

I nodded. Then I looked away from her feeling guilty for what I did to him. "You know. You don't need to that. Well you know there are some times were doing something good that includes breaking someone feelings, and yes doing the right thing makes it really hard for us but. What you did is. To be honest. Daisuke became a wreck he may thought that you're the only chance for him to get closer to uncle Eisuke but you kind of did something that will make your dad proud to you. Which is you need to hurt Daisuke."

"I know. I did hurt him. Thats... I guess. The reason why he never visits us again. He may already gave up o us. Especially I made a misunderstanding. Thats why I came here to see him if his here so I can apologise to him. But... looks like his not here." I said. "Well, Someday. You'll get to see him again. At the right time." she said. I looked up to her and gave her a hug. I can feel her probably in surprised but it didn't take long she hugged me back.

"By the way? Have you seen Daisuke?" I asked. But I notice her eyes went wide and she looks away from me quickly.

Is Daisuke okay?

"No....I haven't seen him after the incident." She said. "What Incident?" Then suddenly she looks back to me and quickly stood up. "Im sorry! Its just that! You and Uncle Eisuke must not know!"

"Huh?! Wait! Ayumi!"

What does she mean by that? Is there something that Dad and I must know? Is this about Daisuke?!

I realise that I started to run. I contacted Dad yet it went t voicemail. Maybe his at home now. So i quickly went home. Then when I got there. I saw him there at his office.

He looks up to me and I notice his eyes were all red. "Dad? What happened?" I asked. When i got closer to him. I notice that he was searching for some kind of a small apartment around Tokyo. "Dad what are you doing? Why are you searching with this kinds of stuff? Are you going to build so-..."

"Im looking for your brother."

"What? What do you mean?" I asked him. But when he tries to answer me he started to cry. "I don't know where he is. I looked everywhere. Even at Andi's grave he was not there. I try to contact him but he blocked it an-....."

"Dad! Calm down. Did Uncle Soryu said anything? Where he is?" I asked. He shook his head. "Just take a rest for awhile dad." "No! Im not going to take a rest or sleep because if I do. I will see Daisuke die in my dreams."

"This is not you dad. Its okay. We can look for him together. Just please take a rest." I said and I hugged him tightly. "I think Daisuke doesn't want to see us. Especially for what we did. I just... I want to apologise and take him back. His my son. His the only that I have left from Andi. I can't lose him." he added.

I know. Deep inside. Dad loves Andi so much up until now. Marrying my mother is just a cover up so he won't look like a desperate man in front of the public. But that smile that everyone sees is nothing but a fake smile. Because the only one who can make him happy is no other than his loving wife Andi. This is the first time I saw that break down. Especially its his son. Daisuke.

"Its okay Dad will find him." I said trying to cheer him up. Then he nodded and closes the laptop. I hold him tightly and take him to the bedroom so he can take a rest. Then when he lies down. A tear fall down and I wiped it away. "Its okay." I said. Then I left his room.

Then I quickly went to my room and contacted Uncle Soryu. It didn't take long. He answers.

Soryu: Hello?

Masaru: Uncle its me. Masaru.

Soryu: What do you want?

Masaru: I need to know where Daisuke is.

Soryu:Im sorry but yo-

Masaru: Please *sniffs* I need to see him. *sniff* I need to know where he is.

Soryu:Stop playing tricks Masaru. Especially for what you did to him.

Masaru: Its just a misunderstanding *sniff* I really didn't mean do it!

Soryu: .........

Masaru: Just please.... Im sorry for what I did. And I want to apologise to him. Please.

Soryu: ..........

Masaru: .........

Soryu: *Sigh* Fine. Is your father there?

Masaru: Yes, but his taking a rest. Why?

Soryu: Don't tell your father. Ill pick you up there for 5 mins.

Then Uncle Soryu hang up. It was around 8 in the evening. So I quickly took my wallet and I secretly went out and waited for Uncle Soryu to pick me up.

~25 mins Later~

The destination where Uncle Soryu is taking me is at the hospital. I looked back to Uncle Soryu. "His here." he said. Did he got unconscious again?

"You'll see when we get there." He added.

Then finally when we got to the hospital he took me at the 12th floor room 1298.

It was like slow motion when I enter the room. What I didnt expect the most. Is to see my brother wearing a nasal cannula, lying in the bed. Then also I notice an x-ray pic of his chest.

"He has 4 months left to live."

I looked back to Daisuke and notice that his eyes were opening. I went closer to him and took his hand tightly.

"Daisuke...."
