-Giselle's Lab-
Third Person's POV:Chase was placed on a table with restraints. Once Giselle demanded for Troy to "lock him up", Chase stirred awake. "Where am I?"
"My robotics lab. Can I get you anything? Water, tea, sharp pain in your neck as we rip out your bionic chip?"
"You know, I was built on this very table. Kind of funny. It's where I had my first day, and you're having your last." Troy cackled.
Chase didn't look impressed at all, "All this technology, and you couldn't give him a sense of humor app?"
Giselle rolled her eyes, explaining her plan, "With your chip, I can finally give my androids superior intelligence. And unlike bionic humans, they won't be vulnerable to things like pain, or emotion, or their lives ending."
"My family will come for me."
Giselle started walking over to her monitor, "Oof, I'm sure they would if they weren't about to be involved in a terrible accident."
Chase sat up the best he could, "Accident? What are you talking about?"
The monitor showed the set where Douglas, Adam, Delta, Bree, Leo, and Zadie were still surrounded by the androids. "Ten seconds." Bree panicked.
"Guess I have to apologize." Zadie got up off the ground.
"Wait. Something's weird. Why would Giselle leave all her androids behind to blow up with us?" Leo asked just as the androids started to geo-leap away.
Adam nodded, "Good question. You should probably ask them before they all geo-leap away."
"Three seconds!" Delta warned as she grabbed Adam's hand.
From Chase's view, the building exploded...with everyone inside. "No!" He shouted, heartbroken.
Giselle just snickered, "Well, that's a wrap on your family."
Troy looked closely at the screen, "Wait. What is that?"
Everyone was running away from the burning building. "They escaped." Chase realized.
"But that's impossible."
"Not really. Looks like you need my bionic intelligence more than your stupid robots do." Seeing that Troy was walking towards him, Chase scrunched his shoulders and squirmed in the chair, "I was kidding. Please don't take it out. Please don't take it out!"
-The Academy-
Zadie's POV:
I didn't apologize. I was so mad I could barely look straight. I didn't know why the hell we came back here. We should've been out there looking for Chase.
"Great idea, Leo." Bree said as everyone stepped off the hydraloop. "But how did you know that grabbing onto an android while they were geo-leaping would geo-leap us out, too?"
"I didn't. I just figured if I'm getting blown up, I'm taking one of them with me."
"Can we stop the chit-chat and get onto what's really important now?" I snapped.
Douglas nodded, walking over to the console desk, "I'll check Chase's GPS locator."
"Poor Chase. This is all my fault." Bree sighed.
Everyone remained quiet. "And notice how no one's saying no, it's not." Adam remarked.
"I'm serious. I trusted Troy, and now Chase may die because of it."
Adam leaned to Delta, "I guess that's what you get for falling in love with an android."
"No, it wasn't-" Bree started.
