Chapter 10, An Unwanted Encounter

(Cristalina/Wayra's POV)
    I see Daniel run to the tree and up the trunk a ways before doing a flip and coming back down again. He is doing better than I expected. He keeps trying and goes a little further each time.

"Try relaxing while keeping a firm grip." I say.

He takes a deep breath then runs up the trunk and onto a branch, he stands on it upright, leaning against the tree trunk for support, panting. It was exhausting learning new techniques! It was hard for me to learn this technique at first to.

"Why don't we take a break? I would like to explain you the other things I wanted to teach you while you rest." I say sitting down.

Daniel jumps off of the tree and lands on the ground. Then he walks toward me and sits down next to me.

I start explaining the other techniques.

"Ok, so the next one is a little harder, but it's basically gliding in the air. You use your chacra as a glider, you glide from tree branch to tree branch. Or whatever your gliding to and from, it doesn't have to be trees. The other one is called the Shadow Clone Jutsu. You basically create a shadow clone of yourself, which is completely solid, but if it gets scratched, punctured, or hurt in any way, the Jutsu disperses and that particular shadow clone disappears. A shadow clone is a solid replica of yourself, it's basically you, it's not a zombie, it's YOU. Once you make it, it will automatically know what you want it to do if your in battle, but any further orders you have to tell them yourself. You can also use them as spies. You could make a shadow clone and send it into the forest with someone to talk to. Then you would disperse the jutsu and you would know exactly what your clone and the person were talking about. It takes chacra to make shadow clones, most people can only make about 5 or 6 if they concentrated really hard, its more normal to only use 1-3 though. Naruto was an exception because he had the spirit of the Nine Tailed Fox inside him, (A giant 9 tailed fox that has an incredibly HUGE amount of chacra) therefore he could make hundreds, even thousands."

I explain everything to Daniel and show him the hand sign for the Shadow clone Jutsu. Then I show him how to do it. I do the hand Sign and shout "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" And with a small puff of smoke, a shadow clone that looks exactly like me appears.

"The number of clones your thinking about will appear, now you try."

Daniel does the hand sign shouts: "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" A small puff of smoke and a clone appear. But the clone looks quite ugly. Its face and body look deformed. I laugh.

"You'll get it, it's a hard one!" I say.

Just then, I sense a dark energy. Out of the blue, a woman lands right in front me and Daniel. She looks like me, and I mean exactly! She must be my doppelgänger! And she doesn't look like the good type! I turn to Daniel.

"Care to explain?" I ask Daniel while inching closer to him.

I'm not going to let it separate us, I don't know what she wants to do, but we can protect each other. Silica comes walking to us from wherever she was before.

"I'm sorry guys, I have to back to the school. I have to protect my students!" She freezes when she sees the woman. "Aryaw?" She asks. "Is that you?"

"Aryaw? Thats my name backwards!" I say. "You know her?" I ask Silica.

"We used to be friends, but one day, she just disappeared. How is it she is still 14?!"

Jason_Tenjiro (Daniel's POV)
    "It must be Darkstar's doing," I said, "Silica, get out of her here! We can handle this!"

She nods, then starts heading back to the camp. If she was fast enough, she could make it to the train station. Aryaw cackles.

"Foolish humans," she said, "It's not my old friend that I want, I want my doppelgänger, Cristalina."

"If you want her," I said, stepping in front of Wayra, "Your going to have to deal with me first!"

"What are you doing?" asked Wayra.

"She wants you," I said, "If she gets close to you, she'll take you to Darstar. I can't let that happen."

I walk a few steps forward and shout, "DRAGON FORCE!"

Within an instant, the armor that Draco was wearing appeared on my body, sword and all. I then jump towards Aryaw and fight her. I kept on attacking her and she was on the defense for a while, then something happened. My heart began to ache, the pain was so intense that my Dragon Force had stopped working. Aryaw cackles again.

"You really think Darkstar would go easy on you," she said, "Your Celestial friend has been captured and Darkstar is absorbing her power as we speak."

As I stop using the Celestial magic, the pain lessened, absorbing the power of a Celestial Spirit? Was that even possible? Even if it wasn't, that means I need to resort to Plan K: the Kaio Ken.

I try to stand up and shout; "KAIO KEN TIMES ONE HUNDRED!!"

Instantly, it's red aura surrounded me, my powers may be increased for now, but I wouldn't have long. Aryaw looks at me then smiles.

"Well then," she said, "Looks like I don't have to go easy on you either."

I jump to attack her, she shouts; "DEMON SLAYER SECRET ART: SHADOW STRIKE!!"

All of a sudden, there was a flash of purple, an explosion, then everything went black.
