Chapter 39, Telling Lavender

(Wayra's POV)
     "Hey guys!" I say to River and Jaxon. "I want to ask-" I'm interrupted.

"Who Sarah and Collin are?" They answer simultaneously.

I laugh.

"Ya, how do you guise always that?" I ask.

"Were god brothers, best friends, and like you and Daniel, we have the same dreams. So simultaneously talking comes easy to us." River and Jaxon answer that entire sentence simultaneously.

"I-It can get creepy!" I say.

They grin.

"Of course!" River tells me.

"Sarah and Collin are just like us." Jaxon tells me.

"In what way, what do you mean?" I ask.

"I guess you could call us... advisors of some sort... We don't know how else to make it clearer." River says.

"When you dream travel for the first time, your subconscious picks people who would be your perfect advisors. Depending on the dream traveler, you might get 1, 2, or even 3. When you get a vision, dream, or important message, the universe sends it in our shape so you are more likely to listen. This doesn't mean you don't get visited by other people as well." River explains.

"...So your like my personal advisors?" I ask uncertainly.

"Sort of." They say once again, simultaneously.

"We are, we aren't. We just did a poor attempt at explaining something that the human mind is not yet capable of even understanding." Jaxon tells me as River nods.

"What Sarah and Collin told Daniel is all true. You and Daniel are connected, possibly getting more and more connected. This is, in a way, dangerous." Jaxon says.

"How?" I ask.

I turn purple.

"We won't... merge will we?" I ask hesitantly.

"I don't think so, but if you don't find a way to control how much you two connect, you could start to share feeling." Says River.

"Is it bad to know what Daniel is feeling?" I ask.

"Not necessarily, but if you don't control it, then if one of you gets hurt, the other feels it." Jaxon says.

I suddenly realize something.

"A-and if one goes dark-?" I start.

"Exactly." They say simultaneously.

"Uh-oh." I realize gulping.

"Even if you are strong enough to resist, there is no telling what might happen!" They say at the same time.

I look over and see Daniel.

"Daniel! Did you hear tha-" I am cut off as I wake up. I need to talk to Daniel, now. This was getting dangerous. We only had a week left to deal with it! I hope Albedo finds a way to get back to his home and time. When he does, he wont remember our adventure. When time catches back, his memories will return. But never-mind that now, I need to talk to Daniel.

(Daniel's POV)
I wait a while before going to sleep, I can't keep my mind off of Sarah and Collin. Was what they said true? We're me and Wayra connected? And how? My eyelids start to get heavy, and soon I fall asleep. In my dream, Wayra is talking to a couple of others. I try and listen in. I don't get their names, but what they are saying sounds similar to what Sarah and Collin had said. As I continue listening, my heart sinks. Then, Wayra turns her head and sees me. She tries to say something, but I wake up before I can hear it, panting.
