Chapter 12, Fuse?!

Jason_Tenjiro , Daniel's POV:
    I look at Wayra's worried face.

"I'm alright," I tell her, "Grab my bag, there's a pouch in it."

She heads over to my bag and grabs the pouch, "I thought you said that increasing the Kaio Ken is harder?"

"It is," I reply, "Why do you think I got knocked out so quickly?"

She hands me the pouch, I open it and bring out two green beans. I eat one and hand the other to Wayra.

"What's this," she asks.

"It's called a Senzu bean," I say, "It heals wounds, and restores your magic power and stamina."

She takes it, "You think she was telling the truth about Draco?"

"She must have," I reply, "I could feel the power sapping out of me. If Darkstar's absorbing it, we're in trouble."

"What kind of magic was she using," Wayra asked me.

"By the sound of it," I say, "Demon Slayer magic. It's similar to my Dragon Slayer magic, but it's more of a Dark Art. I never thought that Darkstar would have to go this far."

All of a sudden, a flash of light appears. I sensed a powerful energy from it, but it didn't seem hostile. It seemed... familiar. Next thing I know, a little girl appeared. It was Wendy from Fairy Tail! But how did she get here?

"Jason," she said, "Is that you?"

"Wendy," I ask, "What are you doing here?"

"I don't know," she said, "I was back at the guild hall and next thing I know, I'm here."

"The fight must have ripped a hole in the dimensions," Wayra said.

"Fight," Wendy asks, "What's going on?"

I explain everything to Wendy and introduced her to Wayra. Wendy stood in amazement for a bit, the turned back to me.

"So your doppelgänger decided to take over the worlds you and Cristalina traveled to? Why?"

"Doppelgänger," Wayra asked, "You didn't say he was your doppelgänger!"

"I know," I tell her, "He's only my doppelgänger because he was created by using my DNA with that of a dark race called the Grimm. He said that he was a better version of me, a combination of human and Grimm. In any world, that spells disaster."

"So how do we stop him," Wendy asks.

"There's one thing that the two of you could do," I say, "Wayra, go back to my bag, there's a pair of gauntlets in there."

Wayra runs over to my bag and searches for the gauntlets. When she found them, she gave them to me.

"What are they," she asks.

"They're Celestial gauntlets," I say, "Given to me by the Celestial Spirit King. They are similar to the earrings worn by the Kai's of the Dragonball world. They can grant the wearer amazing power, as well as grant a fusion."

"A fusion," Wendy said, "Like with you and Draco's?"

"Very similar yes," I replied, "If the two of you fused, then we would be able to stand a chance against Darkstar. Since the two of you are doppelgängers, the fusion should work without a doubt."

Wayra A. K. G./Cristalina_Starr: Wayra/Cristalina's POV
    "Wh-what?! I'm not fusing with Wendy. Even if she IS my doppelgänger! Besides, we don't look anything alike! I would like to to keep my body for just 1 person if you don't mind. For myself! Isn't their another way? And what's gonna happen to you? You said you were week whenever Draco wasn't with you. She is getting her magic taken away! What does that make of you?" I ask Daniel.

Jason_Tenjiro : Daniel's POV
"My power alone won't stop him," he replied, "And yes, Draco is my main source of power. Besides, the fusion won't be perminent. When all is said and done, you just need to take the gauntlets off. The benefit of the fusion is that you would be able to use both of your powers. With Wendy's Dragon Slayer magic and your various abilities, you would be unstoppable! But I won't force you, just think about it for a while."

All of a sudden, he grabbed his head and started screaming. It looked like he was in pain, but he didn't have any wound on him.

"What's happening," Wendy asks.

"It's Darkstar," he replied, "He's almost done absorbing Draco's power!"

He then tried to walk, but his legs were shaking. He then tried to say something more, but it wa s so slurred, we couldn't understand it. His forehead was covered with beads of sweat, and then he passed out.

Wayra A. K. G: Wayra's POV
"D-Daniel?" I say. "Oh no! He is out cold!"

I kneel down beside him and place my healing hands on him. I manage to stop the pain but he is still knocked out.
I turn to Wendy.

"We were going to go to a Temple to stop all the wraths, but if this keeps up..." I look at Daniel. "I think we should try to rescue Draco. And find a way to give my friend Silica her powers back... She gave them to Daniel to save his life once. AND on top of all that, we still have to find out what happened to my friend Albedo!" I look at Wendy. "Should we fuse?" I ask her.

"I don't know, I don't quite like the idea either..." She answers.

"How about this:" I propose. We go everywhere together, and only fuse if we find we have absolutely NO other choice!"

She nods. "Ok. Thats fair."

"One thing though, I'm gonna be the one that controls the body! You can be the brain giving me ideas! It won't work otherwise, I'm not really good with ideas." I tell her.

She thinks for a minute. Then reluctantly agrees.

"For doppelgängers, we don't look to alike." She says.

"I know!" I agree. "We really don't!"

I look at Daniel again. "Shall we try and start to check off the long list of things we have to do then?" I ask my good doppelgänger.

"Yes. We better get started." She answers.

I use earth bending to create an earth cart with wheels. I tell Wendy to help me hoist Daniel up and get on. Then I do the shadow clone jutsu and create some of my clones to help push the cart. I give each an equal amount if chacra so they don't have to use pure strength. I was strong, but to push a cart all day was a lot. I would have to keep changing clones. Which would be hard because when I disperse the jutsu if the clones are tired, I take on their tiredness. I would have to be careful. My clones begin to use earth bending to push the cart and were off.

Jason_Tenjiro : Darkstar's POV
    It was done, all the power that the spirit had was now mine. But where was Aryaw? She should have been back by now, something happened. I turn to the now weak spirit.

"Do you feel it, spirit," I say, "That's your energy gone, transferred into me."

"You'll...never...win," she manages to stutter, "He'll...be...here..."

"Who, your friends," I gloat, "Jason is weak, he'll never regain his full strength as long as you are in my possession."

Just then, I heard footsteps behind me, Aryaw returned, wounded.

"What have you done," I order, "Speak!!"

"I traveled to them," she said, "The boy tried to fend me off, but he was no match. The girl however, she is strong, Lord Darkstar. She may be a problem."

"It is no matter," I say, "The transfer is done, he will not be fighting any time soon. Where are the other friends of hers, Albedo and Silica?

"We still have him," she replied, "He's locked in the dungeon."

"And the woman, Silica?"

"Back at the school," Aryaw answered, "She is of no concern."

"No matter," I tell her, "Have the wraths bring her here. We'll need them both. The door will open, and the invasion will begin."
