Chapter 14, Fighting It

Jason_Tenjiro : Daniel's POV
It took hours before we managed to see the temple. We still had a few miles to go, but it was in our sights.

"Let's go," Daniel said, "I got a knuckle sandwich with Darkstar's name on it."

"Yeah," I say, "But we need a plan."

"You guys go and look for the rest of the gang," he replies, "I'll take on Darkstar. Once you guys find Draco, my power should return."

"That is, if she hasn't turned," Wendy said.

All of a sudden, Daniel leans over, screaming.

"I feel it," he says, "The power...it's so dark...so evil."

"What can we do," Wendy asks.

"Tie my hands," he said, "I...won't be able to hold it off for long. This energy...it's strong...so dark...so cold."

His eyes flicker from red to hazel a few times, then stood back up.

Wayra A. K. G: Wayra-Cristalina's POV
I immediately earth bend rock around Daniel's hands behind his back and then crush them into metal.

"Ouch!" Daniel complains.

"Sorry." I say. "I can't have you doing anything you might regret later."

"Fair enough." He replies.

"Lets keep going." Wendy says.

We continue for a long while after. Finally. After what seemed like an eternity, we arrive at the temple.

"Why were we here again?" I ask Daniel.

Jason_Tenjiro : Wayra-Cristalina's POV
"This temple is one of the oldest in this worlds history," he said, "According to some of the ancient scrolls, it was created by the old casters. Since it still holds magic properties, Darkstar must be using as a conductor for his magic in order to break through the universal barrier. If he does that, he could invade any world he wants."

Wayra A. K. G: Wayra-Cristalina's POV
"We can't let that happen!" I say. How do we stop him?"

"You mean how do I stop him." Daniel says.

"No I-"

"This is a battle between males." He tells me. "I can't have a girl interfering."

I was stunned. Daniel being sexist? He was definitely getting worse. I wasn't gonna let him trample me though.

"Uhh.. Daniel? If your so convinced that a girl's just gonna get in your way, I wouldn't be so confident! Because last time I checked, Aryaw, a girl kicked your butt. And me, a girl, saved you!"

"Ya, ya, thats not a big deal!" He says.

I go over and pinch his cheek hard. "Snap out of it!" I yell.

"Ouch! What what that for?" He says. Then shakes a feeling off. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that..."

Jason_Tenjiro : Wayra-Cristalina's POV
"You're getting worse," I said, "We need to finish this, and fast."

"I don't think that's going to happen," said a voice.

We look up to see Aryaw floating in the air.

"Well now," she said, "Suprised you made it this far. With the boy being weak and all, I though you would have left him."

"That's not what we do to our friends," Wendy said.

"Oh really," Aryaw said, "Well give it a few minutes and he's not going to feel the same. The spirit is almost under our control, and soon so will he."

"Get down here, demon," Daniel screamed, "I'll show you whose weak!"

I slap him, he did seemed like he was getting worse. I don't know what was going on in his head, but I hope he was fighting for control.

"See what I mean," Aryaw cackled, "I'd give him about half an hour before he's under our control. In the mean time, you and I have some unfinished business, Cristlina. You managed to beat me last time, but I want a rematch."

Wayra A. K. G: Wayra/Cristalina's POV
"Well your not getting it!" I stomp down hard on the ground an an earth tipi surrounds us. I then grab Wendy by the hand and Daniel my his arm.

"Take a deep breath." I command them.

They do.

I make the ground quicksand-like and we sink into the earth. I earth bend a small tunnel so we can breathe and make the quicksand solid again. Then I tell both Wendy and Daniel to go ahead as I make the tunnel ahead, and close it behind.

"Stop bossing me around." Daniel says.

I didn't have time for one of Daniel's going bad fits.

"Daniel? Just DO IT!!!" I yell at him.

"Thats better, I like a girl whose mean!" He tells me, with a creepy grin.

I roll my eyes and usher them ahead. Then I get into position, and stomp on the ground and punch the air in front of me open palmed. This pushes back the earth. I then quickly turn toward the other side and slap my hands together in a praying position. This closes the tunnel. I turn back to the other side and continue the earth tunnel. I repeat this many times in a row until finally I stop. Jump to the roof of the tunnel and carefully open it up a little. I slowly look around and see were in a forest, next to the forest is a meadow clearing. I don't see anyone there, so I go back into the cave to grab Wendy and Daniel and stomp the floor. A chunk of rock from the floor starts to elevate. I step out of the tunnel and using chacra to enhance my strength hoist them both up with one in each arm.
I set Wendy down and press Daniel against a tree.

"Promise me your fighting it!" I say sternly as if I was his mother.

"I'm really trying, but it's not easy Wayra. I am honestly starting to doubt if I can do it. She said that in about 30 min. She would have total control if me. I'm not safe anymore. And I don't think that just earth bending my hands behind my back are gonna stop me." Daniel says. I see that he is telling the truth. He did have Silica's Original Powers now!

"You got that right! I hear a voice behind me. I let go of Daniel and spin around. Aryaw was there. And she had Wendy's arm twisted into a key!

"What do you want?!" I ask her annoyed.

"I already told you. I want a REMACH!"
She tells at me. "Or I hurt our little doppelgänger, Wendy!"

I guess I had no choice. I couldn't let Wendy get hurt. She was out friend!
"Fine." I agree. This was going to be tough. Daniel was using everything he had to keep as much darkness as he could away. And she had seen me fight once, so she knew my technique better!
I take a deep breath and get into my aikido stance. Then I quickly run over every technique I knew so I could refresh my memory. I would have to use all 4 elements of Air, Water, Earth, and Fire; and could use Chacra to use the shadow clone jutsu, enhance my strength and much more! There was also the Kaio Ken Daniel had thought me. I could use air and fire to fly. The fire would act like a jetpack. I could use water to freeze as well. And with earth, I could feel where my opponent was with my eyes closed, as well as metal bend! Just like in my world with all my talents though, having so many abilities makes it hard to get good in any one in particular.
Aryaw comes running at me and at the last minute, I dodge her and jump high into the air. And the battle begins.
