Chapter 27, Short On Time

(Wayra's POV)
    As I keep sparing with Jellal, I think worried about Daniel and the connected dream. If that was really Lavender, was she really alive? This brought forth another problem: Daniel and her were in love. Would Daniel even want to come back? Or stay living with her? I sigh. But if me and Daniel had Dream Traveled here, that meant that we were dreaming! So no matter what Daniel did, we would eventually wake up! How do I tell him? He seemed like he really loved her! He is technically 30 to, so I wouldn't be surprised if he had actually proposed at some point!

"You ok?" Jellal asks me.

"Yes, I'm fine." I say blocking one of his punches. "I was just thinking of something. You are actually here, but me and Daniel Dream Traveled, so were dreaming! If Daniel's ex is alive, it could be a problem, how is he gonna have a girlfriend if any moment, the Dream Traveler force could sweep us away?"
Jellal puts his hand on my shoulder.

"It will turn out ok."

I sigh. "Your probably right." I answer. I look over as Daniel walks up. "You ok?"

    "Yeah," Daniel said, "Listen, I've got some news."

"What's up," I asked.

"It's really her," he replied, "Atlas Durza really has Lavender!"

"Not possible," Jallal said, "She's gone."

"He revived her," Daniel said, "She's alive again! We have to go and find her!"

"Your letting your emotions cloud your judgment," Jallal said, "We can't just go up against an Angel and expect to win."

"Then we find an Angel of our own," Daniel said, "Atlas Cyros should be around here right? Let's find him and have him help us!"

"It doesn't just work like that," Jallal replied, "We don't even know where Atlas Cyros is!"

"What about Leinad," Daniel asks, "He has the powers of the Dark Angel right?"

"We don't even know what those powers are," Jallal said, "Even if we did, using those powers could allow him to be taken over by Atlas Durza! Do you really want to risk your friends for an old girlfriend?!"

"She wasn't just a girlfriend Jallal," Daniel replied, "She was my fiance! We were going to get married! You think you know everything?! You killed your best friend! You almost killed everyone on the planet! What do you know about what I'm going through?!"

Daniel went over to his tent and bags and started packing.

"What are you doing," I asked.

"Going to find Lavender," he said, "Don't try to follow me."

"Jason wait," Jallal said.

"No," Daniel replied, "I don't care how dangerous it is! I lost the woman I loved and now I have a chance to get her back! If you had a chance to bring Simon back, would you?"

He then slung his bag over his back, and walked towards the coastline.

    I don't have any stuff so give everyone an I'm sorry look and run after Daniel. I spin him around and look him straight in the eye.

"Don't try to stop me!" He yells at me.

"I won't." I say "But I don't care what you think, I can tell I won't be able to stop you. So I'm coming with you."
Daniel started to protest but I interrupted him. "I'm going with you! I don't care what you think! Your the only person I actually know in this world besides a few others. I'm NOT letting you go alone! If you have the right to stomp off angry like that then I certainly have the right to follow you!" I look over at Albedo. "Are you coming? You wanted to recharge your wold jumping time turner right? We might be able to do that along the way." I give Daniel an angry look. "Don't try to stop me!"

    Daniel starts to say something, then chuckles.

"What?" I asked him.

"It's been years since anyone has acted this angry at me," he said, "Alright, we go together."

He then turns to Jallal, "Sorry about what I said. I just want to have her back."

"I understand," he said, "I should be the one saying sorry. You were right, I don't understand what your going through. I hope you can actually bring her back."

"I do too," Daniel said.

"Wait up," Leinad said, "I'm coming too!"

"You should stay here," Daniel said, "Train with Jallal."

"No way," Leinad replied, "We're dopplegangers remember? We look out for each other. Besides, I have a good sense of my powers. We can train during your search. Either way, I'm coming with you."

Daniel looks at me, I nod my head, then looks back at Leinad.

"Alright," he said, "We'll do this together. All of us."

"So," I ask. "Where do we start?"

"We find a way to the Celestial Spirit World," Daniel says.

"How," Leinad asked, "I thought that we would die if we went to the Spirit World."

"Not unless we wear Celestial garments," Daniel replied, "Then we would be able to breath in the Celestial Spirit World."

"How are we going to get Celestial garments," I asked.

"Draco should be here with them," he replied.

Just then, a flash appeared, followed by a flash of light. After it died down, Draco appeared with burns on her. A bundle of clothing was in her arms.

"Draco," I asked, "What happened?"

"He did it," she replied, "Atlas Durza as taken over the Celestial Spirit World."

"What," Daniel said, "How?"

"I'm not sure," she said, "There's nothing but broken pillars and burning buildings left."

We all stand in awe for a few minutes. How could the Spirit World be under Atlas Durza's control? It was just like the dream Daniel and I had.

"We need to find Atlas Cyros," Daniel said.

"What happened to going to the Celestial Spirit World," Leinad asked.

"If Atlas Durza really did take it over," Daniel replied, "Then we won't stand a chance. If we find Cyros, then he could help us in defeating Atlas Durza."

"Where would we even find him," I asked.

"We should head back to the guild," he replied, "Maybe Makarov can help us."

"Maybe," Draco said, "But the reason you traveled to Tenro Island was to train for the Grad Magic Games remember?"

"Shoot," Daniel said, "I forgot, it's a week away!"
