Chapter 34, A Plan

Albedo turns the dial up on his wand, and calls his broom. He flies around, throwing high powered spells at the guy.

(Wayra's POV)
I shriek. "A-Albedo? When did you get here?"

Daniel wanted me to distract Atlas Durza? No problem, I was angry enough I would do ANYTHING. I fly into the air and immediately make myself spin like a top, forming a powerful tornado. I follow him around throwing high powered fire blasts at him, even though I'm going what seems to be like a million miles an hour, I can see him perfectly. I add huge chunks of rock to form a tight protective belt around my tornado, then I summon water and electrify it, then I add it to my tornado and it starts throwing random blasts at Durza, this way he can't predict them. All the while I am also still throwing the high powered fire-blasts at him. At first Durza seems to be getting off balance. Do I have the upper hand? But then he does a come-back, and completely stops my entire tornado and all my attacks! I am knocked backward and start falling through the sky. No. I refuse to lose to this stupid man! I do A mid-air summersault and catch myself with my flight.

"Impressive." Durza says to me. "You make me curious about your power, those were powerful attacks! I could hardly keep up, but now it's my turn!"

Durza now comes at me, with powerful attacks one after another, he is super fast! Somehow, I manage to dodge each and every one, but some got quite close, dangerously close! I shudder and try not to think about what would of happened if one of them actually got me.

"You surprise me, most would of been dead long ago, I like a challenge, but your still weak!"

"HEY DURZA," Daniel yells.

Both Atlas Durza and I turn to see Daniel right next to a flame of some sort.

"What is this?" Durza said.

Daniel opens his mouth and begins to eat the fire. Durza tries to prevent him from continuing, but I managed to stop him. After Daniel finished, he smiled.

"Well now," Daniel said, "I don't know about you, but eating that hellfire as gotten me all fired up!"

"It won't matter," Durza replied, "That hellfire will help you at nothing!"

"Don't count on it," Daniel replied, "Because I'm still a Dragon Slayer."

He then balls him hands into a fist and blue and gold flames appear in his hands.

"CELESTIAL HELLFIRE DRAGON: IRON FIST!" he says.

He then jumps towards Atlas Durza and punched him hard in the face. Durza flew farther than I expected, and smashed into a wall.

"Not this again," Durza said, "I will not allow you to beat me! ELEMENTAL SOUL: DIVINE SHADOW WARRIOR!"

Durza's body then began to glow, then it started to change.

"What's happening," asked Leinad.

"He's using my takeover magic," Daniel explained, "Listen, I have an idea. I can distract him for a bit, but I need someone to activate the Fairy Law spell."

"The spell that he tried to use on us," I asked, "None of us know it."

"Not a problem," Daniel replied, "I know Archive magic, I can transfer the spell to your mind. Hibiki taught it to me, once I do you should be able to use the spell."

"Daniel it's suicide," Leinad said, "It takes years to master it, no one as ever used it after just learning it and survived!"

"Mavis has," Daniel said, "Look, yes there is a good possibility of problems, but it's the only spell that can beat him! Once it activates, it only affects those the caster sees as an enemy. If any of you have better ideas, I'm all ears. We don't have much time!"

"No!" I say to Daniel. "I have a better idea to defeat him! I just need to get close enough to him to activate it, it won't kill him, but he won't be able to hurt anyone ever again!"

Daniel seems to think about it, then nods.

"Do it fast!" He says.

Fast indeed, I fly into the air and zoom towards Durza. But at the last second, he swats me aside. I fly though the air spinning from his slap. I quickly recuperate and come at him again, by now, he had transformed. Arg!!! So annoying!!! But I didn't have to defeat him, just touch him. I keep coming at him but he just swats me like I'm a fly.

"As I said, your weak." Durza says cackling.

"Yea? Well se how weak you are when I'm finished with you!" I yell back at him.

It was frustrating, I wasn't fast enough!
I guess I would just have to get faster!
I land in the ground and think: fast, fast, fast, fast, fast! Suddenly, I'm running like lightning! I was going as fast as a blur! This was cool! But dangerous! What if I didn't see where I was going? And sure, I was running, but Durza was in the air! how would that help?

"This keeps getting better and better." Says Durza. "I have made up my mind! I'm taking your power!"

When I hear this my heart skips a beat, and not at all like when of you see the person you like, the total oposite in fact!
Durza dives for me, but I manage to dodge him. I am fast, but Durza trips me! I do a roll my aikido teacher taught me, rolling over my shoulder and landing standing up. I am proud my aikido teacher Russle taught me that, otherwise, my neck would probably be broken right now! But Durza doesn't stop. I start slowing down. What was happening? Why wasn't I fast anymore?! I look at Durza's face and frown. Daniel's face, he was doing a wonderful job of making him look ugly with that sinister look. Durza must have something to do with me slowing down! I am running normally within a few seconds, and Durza is catching on, FAST! How could touch him with him trying to take my power? Heh, stupid question, I realize. As much as I HATED it, I could use this as an advantage! So I start flying again and try to escape, I come to a dead end. Everyone is looking at us. I back up against the wall.

"I know I said your weak, but I take that back, your stupid." Durza insults me.

"Don't be so sure." I mumble under my breath.

"What was that?" Durza says getting closer with each step.

Soon he is directly in front of me.

"Game over, you can't escape! Soon, your power will be mine!" He says lunging.

Everything seems to be going in slow motion. I hear everyone scream "NO!!!".
I wasn't going to let him get my power, it was now or never. I slide to the ground and crawl under his legs. Then I jump into the air and kick his back as hard as I can. He stumbles to the ground, as quick as lightning, I earth bend his hands and feet to the ground. They were now buried to the ground and he seemed to be uncomfortable, he was face up doing what in yoga would be called an upside down bridge. For those who don't stretch, it can be extremely painful, it wouldn't hold him forever, I run and jump to his head, I was standing behind him. I place my hand on his heart and my forehead to his forehead. I had to get into his mind to do this technique. I feel sorry for him, growing up with such hate in his heart. I open my eyes as they begin to glow. This always happens when I use an extreme amount of energy. Durza's begin to glow to, his energy activates, and begins seeping away, until his eyes don't glow anymore. I then think of Daniel, I reach with my mind for his soul and place him back inside as I force Durza out, his body collapses on the ground next to us. Did I do it? Was Daniel back in his body?

"Wayra, I'm back." I hear Daniel say.

I sigh relieved, and remove my hand from his heart and my forehead from his forehead. I release him from my earth bending and smile.

"What did you do to Durza?" Daniel asks laying on his back when I release him.

"I took away his magic, and anything else like it. He is going to be quite weak when he wakes up." I say.

I smile, pleased I was able to stop him, then my vision gets wobbly and I collapse on the ground, to exhausted to do anything else.
