Daniel Murchison
(Daniel's POV)
"Wayra!" I said. She was passing out, I caught her before she hit the ground."Wha?" she said.
"That technique used up your energy," I said, "Take a break, you deserve it."
As her eyes closed, I asked Leinad and Albedo to help me carry her back to the guild hall. We head back out when I see a key on the ground, Draco's key. I pick it up and put it in my pocket, then follow the others. Once we reach the guild, I put Wayra in the infirmary. I then head out to a field, having Lavander follow me.
"You feeling better," I asked her.
"Yeah," she replied, "Wendy healed me pretty good. What I don't understand is why Draco's key is still here? Your still soul-bound to her, right?"
"Not exactly," I said, "Once I returned to my body, my spirit wasn't bound to her anymore since Durza removed the key."
"Then why are we here," she asked.
"Because she needs a contract," I replied, "I can still contract with her, but I'm letting her choose."
I stand back, "Open, Gate of the Dragon: Draco."
The key begins to glow and Draco appears.
"Hey," she said, "Good to know you're still alive."
"Is Atlas Durza taken care of?" I asked.
"Yeah," she replied. "Banished to somewhere I don't think he's coming back from."
"Good," I said.
"How come you called me?" She asked.
"Well," I replied, "I wanted to know if you want to start a contract with anyone in particular. Since we're not soul-bound anymore, you can choose."
"Well," Draco said, "I haven't really givin it much thought. Since Lucy is one of the only Celestial wizards in Fiore, she would be the obvious choice. But I think I'llstay with you for now."
"Really," I said, "Out of everyone in Fiore?"
"Yup," she replied, "I've been with you for about seven years. At first it was hard to get use to the fact that I wasn't my own person anymore, but after a little while you grew on me. It would be kind of hard to leave you."
"Thank you," I said, at this point I was crying.
"Just one question," she said, "Do you still have Dragon Slayer magic?"
I ball up my fists and show the reddish black flames.
"Hellfire," Lavander said, "That makes us polar opposites now huh?"
Draco looks at me confused.
"Lavander's a Water Dragon Slayer," I said, "Second Generation."
"That makes sense," Draco said, "You guys take care."
We all hug for a bit, then Draco disappears.
"So," Lavander said, "You thinking of staying?"
"What do you mean," I said.
"Well," she said, "Wayra might head back to your world, she could ask if your coming. What are you going to say?"
"You could come with," I said.
"True," she said, "But you know Fairy Tail's my home. I've been gone for so long, I just want to be here for now. No more traveling."
"Good point," I said, "I could stay for a while."
