Chapter 26, Lavender

(Wayra's POV)

How is it we got here in the first place? Was this really all just a dream? I would definitely drag Daniel over to a computer to help me type up our adventure when we get back! I laugh quietly. I don't think I would have much trouble convincing him. As I am lost in thought and start falling asleep something jolts me awake again. What was that? I thought I heard a noise... There it is again! It sounded like shuffling feet. Should I go see what it was?

Daniel Murchison
(Daniel's POV)

In my dream, I was in the Celestial Spirit world, but something was wrong. The sky was red, the pillars were destroyed, and everything was on fire. I look around and see all the spirits chained up, someone invaded the Celestial Spirit World! But who could be? I continue to look around, and see a man with black wings and horns. Could this be Atlas Durza? At his feet was a girl in chains, I try to get a better look at her and what I saw stunned me. Was that Lavander? But how, she has been gone for years. Then it hit me, Atlas Durza had captured her spirit! He then looked me in the eye, as if he could see me.

"Bring me a host," he said, "Or she will be erased from existence. Oh, and tell Cyros I said hello."

He then starts to laugh, which echoes throughout the Celestial Spirit World. I then wake up with a startling scream.

(Wayra's POV)
I was probably just being paranoid about the shuffling, but I decide to go see just in case. But before I can my eyelids get heavy, I struggle against the sudden wave of sleepiness, I stumble over and fall asleep just outside the tents opening. I have a dream. River and Jaxon are once again, the messengers. There is a demon dude in a burning world who is holding a young girl about Daniels age in chains. He looks at me and speaks. But he seems to be looking past me. He is talking to someone else. This is obviously an important dream, who is the dude talking to? I wake with a start when I hear a scream. I leap to my feet and look to the direction where Daniel is. It hits me: Daniel and I were connected somehow now, so I must of just gotten a message dream that only he was supposed to get, the demon said a scary thing! I rush over to the tent.

"Daniel are you ok?" I ask him. "Care to explain what the heck just happened? What was that?!"

"We heard screaming," Jallal said, "Is everything alright?"

"No," Daniel replied, "Atlas Durza paid me a visit last night in my dreams. He had Lavander in chains and the Celestial Spirit World was on fire! He told me to bring him the host or else he would erase her from existence."

"Jason," Jallal said, "Lavander is gone. How could Atlas Durza have her?"

"I don't know," Dainel replied, "Maybe he resurrected her? I mean, he is called the Dark Angel of a reason right?"

"Did he say anything else," Leinad asked.

"Yeah," Daniel said, "He said to tell Cyros hello for him."

"Whose Cyros," I asked.

"Atlas Cyros is from the Book of Angels," replied Jallal, "According to it, he is the Angel of order. Making him the rival to Atlas Durza."

"Hey Jallal," Daniel replied, "Can you train Cristlina for today? I need to think this over."

"Of course," he replied.

Daniel then gets up and walks out to the grove, alone.

I watch as Daniel leves. I guess it's only natural he react this way. He was in love with her after all. If he still does, then that demon dude could actually use her to get what he wants! I sigh, then I walk over to Jallal.

"Jallal the immortal." I say laughing.

"Excuse me?" He asks confused.

"Never mind." I say.

"I get these flash-back of the past of your world, as if I'm watching the show. It's just a silly thing me and some other fans say because you die and come back, or leave and return so many times. So. What am I learning today? Do you know some martial arts? I should probably learn some incase my techniques fail me." I start thinking.

I wonder if I should try to find an aikido teacher here. I will learn it faster in this world so I should try to learn? Ya, I decide I would. For now I focus on what Jallal is teaching me.

     Albedo apparates into the room suddenly, but something about it is different. He is holding his pocket watch.
"Did it wo- holy Odin it's Mystigan! Or Jallal. It's really hard to tell."

Daniel Murchison
(Daniels POV)

I sit down on a stump and l let out a big sigh. How could Atlas Durza have Lavander? Did he actually bring her back? I didn't know.

"You looked troubled," said a voice.

I look up to see Draco once again leaning on a tree with a concerned look on her face.

"You have no idea," I replied. I tell her about my dream.

"Yikes," she replied, "You really think he has her?"

"That's the thing," I said, "I'm not sure. I know that she's been dead for a few years, but she seemed alive in my dream. Her clothes were tattered, she had cuts all on her body. This doesn't sound like something that would happen to a spirit."

"True," Draco said, "But the Celestial Spirit World is still the same. No one has attacked it."

"Could you check for me," I asked, "To see if she's missing?"

"Sure," she said, "But this is the last time. Every time I leave you alone, you get weaker. This can't keep happening, agreed?"

I nodd my head and she disappears. I stay sitting on the stump, waiting to heat back from her. About an hour later, I see Leinad walking up.

"Hey," he said, "How are you holding up?"

"About as well as anyone could," I replied, "How's training with Jallal?"

"Alright," he said, "He's been sparring Cristlina so he can 'see her true power' or something like that. Albedo showed up again."

"Look," I said.

"I know, I know," he replied, "You think your ex-girlfriend is alive but your not sure so you want some space to think about it. It's cool, we all understand."

"She wasn't just my girlfriend," I said, "After I won my first Grand Magic Games, I proposed to her and she said yes."

"Oh," he said, "Yikes, a girlfriend is one thing but a fiancé? No wonder your over here alone."

I nodd my head, then reach down into my shirt and pulled out a string. On the string was a ring with a purple crystal on it.

"Is that the ring," he asked.

"Yeah," I replied, "I asked for it specially made since purple was Lavander's favorite color. When she died, I held onto it. It may have been worth a lot of money, but it also had a lot of memories to go with it."

"I should be heading back," Leinad said.

"Thanks for talking to me," I told him.

"Don't worry about it," he replied, "We're doppelgängers remember? We look out for each other."

He then walked out of the grove. As soon as he did, Draco reappeared.

"So," I asked.

"It wasn't easy," she said, "But according to the Southern Cross spirit, she is captured by Atlas Durza."

"I knew it," I said, "I knew it was her."

"There's one more thing," she said, "He said that Atlas Durza revived her. She's alive Jay, which means we can bring her back to Fairy Tail!"
