Chapter 36, Another Guide Revelation

Daniel Murchison
(Wayra's POV)
"Hey Daniel," I said, "Are you still connected to Draco?"

"No," he replied, "After I got my body back, the connection broke. But I still have the Hellfire Dragonslayer magic. When I ate the fire it fused with my spirit. How that exactly works I have no idea, but I am now a Hellfire Dragonslayer."

"Cool..." I said, yawning.

"Get some rest," Lavander said, "You should be back on your feet by tomorrow, but you should still take it easy."

I nod my head, that technique did exhaust me a lot. I close my eyes and decide to go back to sleep.

(Daniel's POV)

"Come on," I said, "Let's go."

We walk out of the infirmery to see the whole guild waiting for us.

"Is she alright?" Asked Wendy.

"Nothing a good rest can't solve," I replied. Everyone cheered.

"Hey Jason," Natsu said, "We heard you're a Hellfire Dragonslayer now, that true?"

I nod my head.

"Wow," Mirajane said, "So your entering the games then, both you and Lavander?"

"Yeah," I replied, "Cristalina too, once she's better."

"That's three people," Erza said, "Who else is on your team?"

"Natsu for sure," I replied, "Maybe Gajeel, I haven't thought much about it."

"Well better pick soon," Makao said, " Games aren't that far away."

"Hey Natsu," I said, "You fired up for a match? You and me?"

He smiles, then charges right at me. I put up my fists, ready to take him on.

(Wayra's POV)
     When I fall asleep, I get another one of those important dreams that River and Jaxon introduce me to.

"Hey guys, what are you gonna tell me now?" I ask them.

"You and Daniel are connected." Dirty blond 10 year old River says.

"Ya, I know, he has part of Silica's magic, so I'm not surprised." I answer.

"Yes, but you are connected in such a way, that if one of you wakes up, the other has to also." Wavy brown haired 10 year old Jaxon informs me.

"But, that can't happen! He wants to stay here! How am I gonna wake up without dragging him with me?" I ask.

They shake their heads.

"We don't know." River says.

"We just thought you would like to know." Jaxon continues.

They start to fade away.

"W-wait! Don't you know something, anything?!"

I call out for them, but it's no use, I'm already waking up. Isn't there something I can do? Daniel is going to wake up anyway, but he would take his time, probably live here, before he died and woke up the morning after the night of this dream. I open my eyes. I sigh. Great. More problems! Should I tell Daniel? Or would that be too cruel? I hear a ruckus in the guild and decide to go investigate. I wasn't tired anymore. In fact, I had completely recuperated my energy. When I get to the ruckus scene and see whats going on, I laugh out loud. So typical. I think.

     Albedo was standing right there.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to join your team."

     I smile.

"I don't know about everywhere else, but you have been a part of my team for a long time. Were just not always together... Hey, I wanna  go check out what's going on." I say.

Daniel Murchison
     Both Daniel and Natsu were fighting each other! I head over to Mirajane, it seemed like a sane place to be.

"Oh," she replied, "You're awake."

"Yeah," I said, "Whose winning?"

"Not sure," she replied, "Natsu has had Jason on the ropes for a while, but since they're both types of Fire Dragonslayers they can just eat each others attacks."

Daniel throws a punch at Natsu, Natsu uses his breath attack. Neither of them seemed ready to give in.

"HELLFIRE DRAGON ROAR," Daniel says, releasing a breath attack of his own. Natsu eats the attack, but looks a little red in the face afterwards

"Man," Grey said, "Those flames are hot. Even Natsu is having a hard time dealing with it."

He was right, Daniel almost turned the guild hall into a sauna!

"LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGON MODE," Natsu yells. All of a sudden, he's engulfed in not only fire, but lightning as well.

"Wait," I said, "I thought he was a fire Dragonslayer."

"He is," Lucy replied, "But when a Dragonslayer eats another element, they can unlock a duel element mode. When Grimoire Heart attacked on Tenro Island, Laxus gave Natsu his lightning. This allowed Natsu to use both fire and lightning."

"Give it up Natsu," Daniel said, "That didn't work the last time you fought me."

"Oh yeah," Natsu replied, "Let's see what it does now! LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGON ROAR!"

Natsu released a breath attack of both fire and lightning. Daniel smiled, as if he knew Natsu would do this. He dodged the attack, then activated a magic circle where Natsu was standing.

"Got you now," Daniel said, "DRAGONSLAYER SECRET ART: HELL'S CORE, FLAMING PILLAR!"

Th circle started to turn bright red, and fire was starting to come out of it. Just then, someone shouted.

"WATER DRAGON ROAR,"

We all turned to see Lavander releasing a breath attack big enough to stop the magic circle. Everyone stood in awe.

"Hey no fair," Natsu said.

"That's enough," Lavander said, "Anymore and you'll destroy the guild hall."

     "You know, next time anyone wants to fight, you should go outside or something!" I say laughing. "It's nerve-racking when you destroy things, remind me never to invite any of you to my house without temporarily disabling your powers first!"

"Hey!" Natsu complains.

I can't help it, I laugh again at the look on Natsu's face.

"Seems like your are in good mood." Grey says to me.

"I am, there is a lot to be happy right now of! Except-" I suddenly remember the dream I had.

"What?" Asks Daniel.

"N-never mind!" I stammer.

I couldn't mention that I was stuck in Fairy Tail dream land could I? No, when Daniel did finally wake up, I would simply be pulled with him. Unless I found another way... Besides, I wasn't leaving yet, the Grand Magic Games were coming up!
