***Terra's P.O.V.***

We continue to stare in each other in shock until Aaron steps around me and block my view of my brother.

"Do you know him?" He asks and I can see him trying to piece everything together in his head.

"No." I answer at the same time Hayden says "Yes."

My mate turns to glare at him over his shoulder before turning back to me.

"I can sense your emotions, but they're shock and confusion. Do you really know him?" He says seriously. concerned for me.

I hesitate, not quite sure how to answer the question. I open my mouth to reply with something when someone else speaks up instead.

"She probably doesn't remember anything about me, but seeing that she knows my name, she has to know something." Hayden interjects, walking slowly closer to where we're standing. Aaron snaps his head in Hayden's direction and growls loudly, warning him not to come any closer.

He stops in his tracks and raises an eyebrow in question.

"I'll take a shot in the dark and say he's your make." The question is directed at me. I'm still in shock finding out my brother, who I didn't know I had until recently, is standing not even a few yards away.

Aaron lightly takes my face in his hands and tilts it to look up at him.

"Say something... anything." Worry is written all over his face and I can hear it in every word he said.

"I-" What do I say? I can tell him that I have a brother my parents banished when I was really little, but will he believe me?

"This is all your fault! What did you do to her?!" He turns and snaps at Hayden.

All the loving brother in his expression disappears and is replaced with a mask of calm. It has to be faked.

"I didn't do anything."

"Liar! You're here. You're the reason my mate isn't telling me anything!" He starts to shake and I instinctively reach out and put my hand on his arm. He glances at me before pulling me closer behind him, but never completely takes his eyes off Hayden.

"She can't tell you about it because she probably doesn't remember."

"How old was I?" I cut in, surprised at how steady my voice sounds.

"Two." He says sadly.

I move to step around my mate, but his arm snakes around my waist, keeping my at his side. "Aaron, I'll be fine." I protest and he only growls softly and that ends that argument.

I look back at Hayden to see him smiling at us.

"I never thought I'd see you find your mate. Little Terra's all grown up." He smiles a lazy smile filled with affection towards me. I feel my own mouth twitch up at the corners, unable to help it.

"How old were you when you... left." I says, for lack of a better world.

 "I was seven."

"Terra, how do we know he's not lying?" Aaron whispers in my ear, his voice hard.

"You still don't believe me?" He asks, incredulous. He sticks his hand into his pocket and pulls something out in a closed fist. "In our family, we're given something from our grandparents before they die. I carry it everywhere."

"Well, what is it?"Aaron snaps, but Hayden is still looking at me.

"The rings." I breathe out and a flash of guilt shoots through me. I lost it. I have no idea where it is.
