"IF YOU CAN EDIT this part by tomorrow that would be great. Let me check the design first before sending it to the art director, sounds good?" I instructed one of our magazine designers, and he nodded his head and looked back at the screen of his computer.

I moved away from him and walked around the office, checking everyone's work, but as I was about to check on one of the writers, Jane suddenly barges inside our office and runs toward me.

"Day!" She shouts, stopping right in front of me and grabbing my shoulder. "The advertising director looked at the candidates, and guess what? He loved your pick!" Jane exclaimed, surprising me.

"My pick? He chose him?" I asked again just to make sure, and Jane nods her head before letting go of me.

"W-Wait, that's great!" I happily say, trying my best not to smile so much from the sudden news. "When's the final selection then? Will I be able to attend and be part of the judges?" I then ask.

"No, Day, don't you get it? The director himself liked your pick. There's no more screening. He's already chosen as the new face of EXRay Media," Jane explains, and when I tell you that my mouth dropped, it literally dropped to the floor in shock. Okay, I've underestimated that man way too much. Hunter really is a Greek god sent from the heavens.

"I...I don't know what to say. It's amazing news. I'm really glad the director liked him," I say, feeling my face heat up a little because of how embarrassed I suddenly felt. I know I already told him about it, but the fact that he's actually going to start working with me now is just making my heart race. I can't help but feel excited.

"And there's another thing that you need to know," Jane then adds, making me look back at her.

"What? Did something else happen?" I ask, and Jane smiles and suddenly tells me, "He's here."

My body freezes in an instant, and for a moment I thought I heard the wrong thing, so when Jane saw my reaction, she explains further herself, "We contacted him earlier and told him about the good news. We told him to come tomorrow, but then he said he's free today, so he's here now."

Before I could even say anything, my feet moved on their own and I started running out of the office. My heart was beating fast and I didn't even know the exact reason why. Todd never visited me at the company, so somehow knowing that Hunter's here made me feel so excited. I've always wanted someone to visit or see me in my workplace, especially since my job is a huge part of what I am.

"I can't believe he's here. And where on earth did he even go for our photographers to steal a photo of him?" I ask myself as I got to the elevator. I click on the button, trying to think of where he could possibly be in the building, but as soon as the elevator door opened, a familiar figure welcomes me.

     It was Hunter.

The two of us looked at each other in shock. He was about to step out of the elevator, but I quickly got inside and pushed him back. I clicked the button for the top floor and looked back at him. When our eyes met, the two of us started laughing.

"Hey you," he says, reaching out to touch my cheek.

"You're here," I say with a smile, unable to properly express how happy I was to see him here. "I can't believe my company reached out to you out of all the people in the city. I couldn't believe it."

"I guess it's destiny," Hunter says with a smile. "And you wanted me to get a job right? So was I a good boy for getting chosen?" he then asks, making me gulp as he leans his face closer to mine.
