Chapter 18: The Death of my Dear Friend
(Third Person's POV)
"Don't you dare touch (y/n)" Katherine jumped and landed to the floor.
"So you can control dolls" he said and smiled "That's interesting"
When he stepped forward, you step one backward.
"Don't come....." you cut Katherine's words. You carried her and looked at Katherine saying 'We need to escape'
"I don't know why you hate me but......... I can't let you kill me" you said as you kicked one of your dress stand and went outside your shop.
You ran as fast as you can. You stopped and catch your breath and realized you are now on an open area.
"I need to hide" you said and tightly grabbed Katherine.
You are about to run again when Katherine suddenly talked.
"You need to rest" Katherine said with a worried tone.
"But I need to run away from him. That's the only thing I can do" You said with a sad tone.
'I want to do something but I would only be a burden if I tried on doing something' you thought.
You are about to run again when someone stopped you.
"So you're here" you turned around and saw the exceed that was one of the enemy's allies.
Instead of feeling frightened to the person who stopped you, you felt relief to saw it was just an exceed.
It's not because the one who stopped you is an exceed you felt relieve because he was small. Somehow, something is strange on him that makes you think that he won't harm you.
"Seeing your expression. Do you think I can't do anything bad on you?" He was angry.
"W-wait, it's not like that" you are about to explain why you are not afraid of him when Katherine jumped and faced the exceed in front of you.
"Are you one of them?" Katherine pointed at him.
"Obviously" He said and rolled his eyes.
"Don't think you are strong and can fight me! You are just an exceed" Hearing those words made him more pissed off.
"You're just a doll" He said back to her.
And they started to argue.
'We have no time for this' you thought.
"E-excuse me but we need to go" you said to the exceed. You carried Katherine and about to leave when the exceed stopped you.
"You can't get away" The exceed said.
"Heros probably know your presence right now. Even if you tried to run away from him, he can still find you" The exceed stated.
"That's why I need to....." you are about to say another reason but the exceed stopped you.
"You can run but you can't hide" he said and looked at you with a serious expression.
"By the way my name is Sera" he said.
"We didn't ask" Katherine talked back.
"I'm not talking to you!" He raised his voice.
"Sera we need to go right now" You are anxious right now.
