Chapter 36: I am Cedric

In a snowy peak of the mountain, there was a little girl crying in loneliness. Her white dress is full of dirt and there is so many holes in it. She's quivering in cold but still continued on crying.

"Don't cry little one" a guy appeared and patted her head. She stopped crying and looked at him with her teary eyes.

"You're not alone anymore" he said, giving her a smile of hope that made her stood up from the snowy ground. Not quivering anymore as she carried the warm smile that she learned from that guy.

"Raphael" the girl mumbles.

You are awakened from your unconsciousness. Putting your hand on your forehead and looked at the front just to see the beautiful guy that has awakened too.

"You're finally awake Hime-sama" he was about to touch you when you felt something wrong about him and your reflexes of avoiding him activated.

"Don't be afraid. I'm not here to hurt you" He smiled, a kind of smile that you can't trust.

You looked around if there's any rock that you can throw at him so that you can run away but there's nothing on sight.

"Are you looking for something?" He's still carrying that perfect smile of his that creeps you out.

"Stay away from me! You're creepy!" you shouted at him.

You heard him laugh at your reaction. He looked at you while still smiling "I am Cedric" he said and lend his hand for you to help you stood up.

You shook your head telling him you don't need his help.

You stood up on your own and started running to the exit but it didn't take long when he's already in front of you, stopping you to leave this place.

"Where do you think you're going?" He's still smiling in creepiness. "I thought you wanted to know something that's why you're here" that's when you're body stiffed out and starting to get nervous. "E-even I have questions, I-I won't ask anything to you" you said stuttering in fear.

He laughed at you. "There's nothing to get feared, I can answer anything you asked after all, I'm part of your past"

You still doubt him. His body tells you he's not a human being. You know that there's so many people surrounding you who's not human but he's one strange thing because of that lacrima in his chest. It makes you doubt everything if he's even going to tell you the truth.

"I'm your answer Hime-sama" he said while smiling "This is just like he predicted" He confidently said.

"You must open your eyes Hime-sama. You're the one who will change this world!" and he started laughing madly. He started acting crazy and because you felt it's not safe anymore, you quickly grabbed the door knob and tried to open the door but it's not opening.

"Arez! Arez! Please open this door!" You shouted while banging your hand on the door.

"It's no use" He said while still looking crazy.

"As you came here, everything has changed" he said and grabbed your two hands.

You tried on getting away from his grasp but he's so strong to even be fazed.

"Let go of me!" you said to him starting to sweat like crazy.

He didn't respond to your plea and put your hands to the lacrima on his chest.

"You don't need them anymore. You can now be the one you wanted the most. To be our chosen one (y/n) (l/n)" and touching the lacrima on his chest made you blacked out.

"Everything is all according to him" A wounded man said while breathing heavily in front of the little girl.

The little girl didn't talk and just looked at him not knowing what's really happening.

"All I wished is for you to have a normal life. Please be strong" And that's the last time that they ever met again.
