Chapter 38: Hope
It's been a week since the appearance of Soluna in Magnolia and there still holes in every information they gathered. It's so hard for them to find one because of some mystery of this group of raiders.
The information they wanted to have is the location of where their base is. If Fairy Tail knew where they are then it's easy for them to find and rescue you.
Gray is so frustated about this situation. Knowing that he have 0% chance on rescuing you, he felt restless. Then one day, someone appeared to help them invade Soluna and his name is Sera.
"I'm sorry if I'm late" Sera is a bit nervous coming in the guild. Not knowing what they might see him after what happened. They might think he's a foe and betrayed you but he built his strength just to help the Fairy Tail.
"I can give you some of my information" Sera said breathing heavily.
"If you want to know where they are, I can tell you about it" hearing those words said by Sera, Gray came running towards him.
"Please tell us"
Sera told them where their location is. They travelled about 4 days just to get to their base. While travelling, Sera spilled some beans about his old group Soluna.
"From the start, I didn't know Soluna's reason on targetting Fairy Tail to raid. Even if I am the informant of the team, this little detail hasn't been told to us. We already know that we can't win against you and still decided to fight you." Sera is starting to tell them what he thoughts.
"I thought I am going to die after betraying Soluna. Right from the start, I hated how they treated people. When I met (y/n), I felt something inside her that need to be left untouched that's why I tried to protect her" he said while playing with his hands.
"I didn't think everything will turn out like this. Fairy Tail as a decoy and (y/n) as the main target. It's insane"
"Can you tell us who's behind all of this" Erza said to Sera.
"I don't have any idea about him but Astrex worships him more than anyone else in the group. Even if we are his prophets, we don't know what his appearance is. We only had a guy who tells us about what we are going to do next. Since we can't disagree to his orders, all we can do is risk our lives just to get what he wants" Sera somehow has feeling regretful because of the reason he can't tell anything about him. It's not like he's keeping him a secret for them but because he really don't know the guy behind all of this.
"Even for the prophets he's still keep hidden" Erza said accepting the things Sera said to them.
"Then can you tell us about (y/n) being the chosen one. I know you're not aware of her being called by that but I still wanted to know what's the real reason why the chosen one existed" Lucy asked Sera. She's really worried about your state right now. Because she's one of your friend, you can't deny that she'll be having a feeling of uneasiness.
"I'll gladly tell you all about the I know but it's if only in my scope of knowledge" and Sera started telling about the chosen one.
"Since I was taken care by the Soluna or specifically by Ura, there's this kind of place in their base that cannot be entered by a low rank in the group. 2 specific people are only allowed to enter and they are Astrex and Ura. They are the most trusted prophet by their Lord. If you already knew about Soluna being a Cult then this thing could be easily explained." They continued listening to Sera.
"Inside the storage house but the appearance of it is clearly a greenhouse, they just called it storage house. That's where the key was located. Once the key was activated, the chosen one is awakened. Do you get what I mean?"
"I don't get it at all" Natsu said confused to what Sera is saying.
"More simply, once the chosen one is awakened, the key's role is to change the world. That's why people who became raiders in that group are almost people who wants to rise from poverty. They think even if they killed people for this new world, they will still be saved by the salvation of the one they worship. It's pretty crooked right?" They agreed to what Sera just said.
It only means Soluna needs you for the world to change. But how can you change it? Those are the thoughts they are carrying as they wait for days to finally get to the place you are right now.
