Chapter 29: Mavis' Impression

When you appeared in Fairy Tail and some of my members helped you to make this puppet show, I'm so glad seeing them helping people outside the guild.

The puppet show has started and you made a spectacular show but somehow the change of event of your story had made you troubled. I can see, far away from stage, you are struggling to control your puppets but that didn't stop you to continue your story.

As the show has ended, people applaud to your puppet show. The you on the stage is exhausted but you suddenly cried that made me confused. And that's when I realized what really happened.

(Y/n), I'm happy you showed up your existence to me. While preparing this show of yours, I can feel inside of you, the potential of being a strong wizard. It didn't take long and I realized, you sealed your magic away and used your magic for work purposes only. I wanted to grab you and tell you, you're a strong wizard but I don't have that strength to talk to you because, I still need to learn more about you.

"That was interesting" The guy beside me said before leaving.

My eyes followed the guy leaving the guild. It made me shiver just watching him walk away. This is bad.

Time passed by and the so called guild raiders arrived to Magnolia to made a mess to our place. They are a brutal group of people who don't have any mercy. They killed people who comes to their way. 

But we didn't expect that the battle between them could be that easy. It sounds suspicious and we didn't expect the turn of the events. 

When they are rescued by their gigantic ally, a word that came out from Ura's mouth while looking at (y/n) triggered everything why this is happening. I made a hunch that everyone didn't believed.

The only thing running from my mind is to give (y/n) a protection so I thought of accepting her to our guild by giving her an offer but she declined my offer by giving me a satisfying answer.

"Even if Katherine was trying to say about lowering my pride, I thought this was a good answer to me. I know I changed but that doesn't mean I want to be a of Fairy Tail just to stay close to them. I already have them on my side as a friend and that's enough for me. I know joining would let us make a much stronger bond and thinking about it was a great opportunity. I want to be strong mentally and physically all by myself.  I think this was a good challenge to. I think I was still clinging to my oath but I know that this decision doesn't involve anything about it. It is hard to refuse you but this is what I think and as an individual, this is my reason why I don't want to join"

I was amazed how she answered me. I can't say anything back to her and also tried to persuade her to accept my offer because I was taken aback to it. I left her with a smile plastered on my face.

After that day, I was still bothered by her not accepting my offer so I thought of a plan B. I talked to Gray and asked him a favour to take you out to your break and he accepted it. The closest Fairy Tail member to you is Gray Fullbuster that's why I came to him asking.

The day after that, I felt a strange thing coming up to me like it's telling me, something is going to happen. I ignored it because I thought it was just an another goosebumps. 

It's pretty weird to hear Natsu, Lucy and Happy going missing since morning. They always get to the guild first and after that, doing some of their errands.

When I also heard from Gray that your shop is still not open, that's when I thought that Natsu, being missing is connected to you.

No one has suspected anything until the Soluna came back and made ruckus in Magnolia.

This is the only thing drawing to my mind that time. "You need to find (y/n) before Soluna gets her"

Gray and the others followed my orders and find her while I was left, trying to help the other members.

"We're finish here Master Mavis" Cana said while breathing heavily. Those Soluna has tons of members that made their way to ruin the tempo of Magnolia. Some of them are strong but my wizards are still stronger than them. Not like the first time, they are many of them that appeared.

After reassuring the safeness of Magnolia, my attention came back to you. I immediately make my way and find where you are but when I got there, all of my members are laying on the ground, some of them are unconscious and some of them are still conscious.

Looking at the front, I saw you crying in fear and shouting.

"Mavis" I saw Katherine beside me.

"Please help (y/n)" her voice is quivering.

"I'm here to help everyone" I said to her in a reassuring way.

I won't let them have you (y/n). The day you came, I already heard the signal of protecting you. You are just like that person, crying for help but in a different way. If those people got their grasp to you, this is a total dilemma. I won't hand you that easily especially if I can feel the strong emotions that the others had to you. Even Gray is agreeing with it, looking at his situation, he's the most beaten up among them because he's the one closest to you and I know, he's the one more precious to you.
