Chapter 48: The Date

"What am I doing here?" Gray is irritated right now.

It's because you grabbed him with you to follow Lucy and Natsu's date.

"What are we, their parents?" Gray clicked his tongue after he said those words.

"Let's just follow them" you don't know what to do with Gray and why did you do the things Lucy said to you.

You know Gray will be troubled but you still grabbed him into this mess.

You saw Lucy and Natsu walking to your way so you pushed Gray down and you signalled him to stay quiet.

"Are we going to eat already?" It seems like Natsu is hungry even if the date has just started.

"L-let's shop first before we eat. Maybe you'll see something you like while we're shopping so..." Lucy can't think of what she's going to say to Natsu.

"But I'm only interested in foods" Natsu is not giving a cheery expression.

You saw Lucy starting to get pissed to Natsu but she calmed herself down and smiled at him forcefully.

You and Gray followed them to a shop where you can buy magic items.

"Stop dragging me" Gray is not amazed at all.

"But if I won't, you'll definitely leave me behind" you said grabbing him to the shop.

"Use this" you gave the clothes to Gray that you specially made to use it for a disguise.

You changed clothes and went inside the shop.

"Woah?" you said while your eyes are roaming around the shop.

"Is it your first time here?" Gray asked you.

"Well... yeah..." you said while you laughed embarrassedly.

"You should go roam around the shop, you might pick something you are interested with. Don't worry about me, I'll follow them" Gray said and left you behind.

You can't even answer him back because he left immediately.

You had this kind of feeling inside that you should follow Gray and stop yourself from being amazed to the things that this shop is selling. You are here to follow their date and shopping is not a good option. In short, you felt guilty.

"I can't fight back to Gray at all" you said to yourself and you felt defeated to his words.

You started to roam around the shop and as you expected, you saw some things that you got interested with.

"This is a cursed doll" you said grabbing the voodoo doll and fascinated at how creepy and unique the design is.

"I could make one for myself and used my magic in it" you said and get the voodoo doll back to where it was place.

You continued on seeing the things you like, checking it and putting it back again and again until you forgot what is the real reason why you are here in the first place.

Forgetting it, you continued to roam around the shop until you saw a bracelet with a crystal clear color which you can compare its beautiful color to Gray's ice.

"Do you like it miss?" a man with a creepy face appeared while looking at you interestingly because your eyes was caught to a beautiful bracelet that would only exist and be sold in this shop.

"N-not really?" you hesitated in just a second and you also felt nervous because of his creepy smile.

"You know, this bracelet was passed on generations to generations from a well known household in Fiore a long time ago. Their family was erased in history because of one tragedy that came to them. This bracelet has been secured but because of my good intellect, I got it with a high price or what we called a great exchange" He proudly said.
