Percy POV

We knew about the Iris-Message the whole time.

Like I said, we'd have been enhancing our senses.

You must be asking, "Why didn't you stop it", or , " How come you let them see you?"

To answer your question, we wanted the Olympians to think they gained the upper hand. By doing so, the Olympians will get cocky and fail. Also, who cares if they know our location? They can't get in without one of us giving them permission and we would never do that. They are no longer our friends or family.

We decided to patrol the perimeters of our own forests to make sure that the Olympians weren't coming to close. I was doing another lap around ( my 10th, but hey its exercise) my forests when I saw two little girls. Well not little. From my point of view they looked about 10 or 12. But to me, that's little.

They were battling a monster and I felt the urge to help, so I jumped into the fight. I killed the monster in seconds and turned to see the girl angry, not thankful. "Why did you do that?!?" One of them yelled throwing her hands up in the air to be more dramatic. Could be a daughters of the god of drama, Zeus, I thought.

"Well, you looked like you needed some help," I answered the girl. The one who spoke had long straight black hair, brown eyes with gold and green sprinkled throughout them. Pretty. By the aura of magic around her I could tell she was a daughter of Hecate.

The other girl had long black hair like the other one, except hers had flecks of blonde and blue streaked in them. Her eyes were lovely with sea green eyes and silver tossed around in them. They both seemed strong and were tan. They seemed strangely familiar and their names were at the tip of my tongue.

"We don't need your help you- yo...." She trailed off when she saw my face. Shock was written all other her face as if she just saw the best Christmas present.

"Your him aren't you. Your Percy Jackson."

I sighed. "Yes I am (making air quotes ) "Percy Jackson"".

Making air quotes around all the wrong facts about me, I continued. "I am also the traitor, the lier, and the cheater."

"You don't think we believe those lies do you? You are our hero! Those people are vlacas to think you'd do that," the girl with the seagreen eyes questioned. She stuck her hand out. "My name is Skye Costello , Daughter of Artemis and my friend over there is Lyddia Yiltan, Daughter of Hecate."

"I can speak for myself, thank you!" Lyddia said angrily.

Skye looked over at me, most likely expecting me to be shocked, but to be honest I could care less that Artemis did the frickle frackle with someone. What I was focused on was if these girls were hurt or not.

" Are you alright? Want to come with me for some tea, you seem a little tense, " I asked hoping they said yes. I don't want them to get hurt out there in the big world.

"Yes," they answered in unison, kinda creeping me out.

I walked them through my forest, amused by them gawking at my blue trees and sea life floating around. I led them to the Center and introduced them to Thalia and Nico.

Nico POV

Ahh....

You know life isn't so bad out here in the forests.

No worries.

No one you need to impress.

No rules to follow.

It's paradise and it gets better. I get to spend this time with the only people who aren't afraid of me and understand me. Percy and Thalia. They just get me. They're not like everyone else at camp who are only nice to me because I'm one of the "Big Three."

They never really push any responsi- wait who is that.

Scratch that part about no worries, Percy is bringing two people towards us.

" Um, Percy who are these people, " asked Thalia, her body in a defensive stance and her bow at the ready. I brought out my sword too and pointed it at the intruders.

"Woah! Guys, can you please keep the weapons lowered? Kinda trying to earn their trust," Percy told us giving us a look that said drop-the-weapons-or-I-will-personally-kick-the-shisct-out-of-you. I put up my hands in mock surrender and dropped my sword.

Thalia did the same. After Percy told the strangers that we were not armed, two girls stepped out into view. They were youngsters, but hey so was I. They looked about 12 or 13 and I was 14. They were pretty cute and I had gotten over my crush on Percy....

Stop! I thought. Focus, on survival not on who you want to date!! I shook my head and cleared my thoughts. Survival. Remember, survival comes first. Well and family I guess...

"So..., are they going to stay?" questioned Thalia glancing at the two girls. Being alone with only each other helped us be able to read each others body language easily, thus we being able to make decisions without having to voice our thoughts.

We all looked at each other and spoke as one. " Of course, you can stay."

Well that was a bit late, sorry. Ok so guys *wiggles eyebrows* as you can tell I was hinting *wink,wink* that Nico might be starting to have a crush on someone. And who is this someone? How should I know, its not like I'm the author or anything. Just kidding. You can decide whether Nico should get in the cahoots with Thalia, Skye, or Lyddia!! Also in the next chapter, some of the characters past will be revealed so toon in for that! :) Hope you enjoyed
