Wednesday 3rd September
I woke up the next morning at 6:30am, early i know, but its got to be done so i can get to work on time. I slumped out of bed before dragging myself into the bathroom and taking a quick shower.
Once i had taken my shower, i blow dried my naturally wavy, dark brown hair, and left it out. I walked from the bathroom and into my bedroom and over to my wardrobe. I opened up my wardrobe and scanned my clothing before my eyes found my work clothes. I pulled out my white, long sleeved, fitted blouse and black, knee length, skater skirt, before kneeling down to pick up my black vans. I quickly slipped on my clothes before inspecting it in front of the mirror. I smiled contently before walking back into the bathroom where i applied a thin layer of eyeliner. I messed around with my hair for a couple minutes before sighing and leaving it as it was. I walked back and grabbed my phone and quickly unlocked it to check the time, to see it was 7:30. Perfect. I walked out of my room and into the kitchen where i quickly ate my breakfast. Afterwards i pulled on my coat, slung on my bag and walked to the door of my apartment before grabbing my keys and heading out. As soon as i stepped outside the door i felt the cold brisk air hit me, i pulled my coat tighter around myself before walking to the cafe.
After about a 15 minute walk i arrived at the cafe to see Ella waiting outside, she was wearing the same uniform as me, but wore black flat pumps, and wore her light brown, naturally curly hair, tied up in a pony tail. I smiled at her as i reached for the keys out of my pocket before quickly unlocking the door to get out of the cold.
"Someones early today." I teased as we both got inside, with me closing the door behind us.
"Someones late today." she teased back and i rolled my eyes playfully.
"Whatever, just help me open up." i sighed as Ella and I began taking down the chairs from the tables. Once we had finished clearing up the cafe i checked the clock to see it was exactly 8 o'clock. I went over to the door and turned around the sign so it went from 'Closed' to 'Open'. I smiled before retiring to the staff room so Ella could take her shift.

"Shift done?" Ella asked as i slumped on the couch next to her and nodded.
"Wow, today was busy." I huffed and Ella agreed. Just as i stood up and walked over to the other side of the room to pick up my coat and bag, i heard the bell from the front door ring, signalling someone had came in. I turned to Ella and furrowed my eyebrows but she only shrugged in reply.
"Hello?" The person asked. I walked towards the staff room door and peaked out to see a young boy, around my age, with dark brown hair and deep brown eyes, stood at the counter. He looked around the cafe as he leant over the counter and checked for a sign of anyone. I slipped out from behind the staff room door so i was in his sight. As soon as he saw me his face lit up.
"Um... Sorry we're closed?" I spoke but it came out as more of a question than an order.
"Oh thats okay, i'll only be a minute." He replied carelessly and i furrowed my eyebrows at him.
"No, i'm sorry but we're closed." I pushed as i walked over to the counter so i was facing him.
"I'll have a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream please baby." He demanded completely disregarding my pleas to get him out of the cafe.
"Look, my shift is over, the cafe is closed, so i can't serve you." I gritted though my teeth as i was now started to get annoyed by his arrogant behaviour.
"Look here, whoever you are, i'm Calum Hood, so can you just give me my damn hot chocolate." He snapped and i raised my eyebrows at him.
"Wow you're the Calum Hood?!" I squealed and giggled in excitement as a smirked formed on his lips.
"Yeah i am." He winked and propped himself up on his arms as he leaned across the counter. I stopped my squealing and giggling and stared at him with a dead straight face.
"Yeah, i don't know who you are, so if you could leave please." I scoffed at him as i was now fed up of his obnoxious attitude. I watched as he raised his eyebrows at me, clearly shocked that he wasn't recognised.
"Feisty baby, i like feisty." He smirked at me and i rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"Get out." I said firmly but he shrugged it off and leaned in further across the counter.
"Make me?" He grinned at me and i rolled my eyes before turning so i was facing the staff room door.
"ELLA!! HE WONT LEAVE." I yelled and both i and 'Calum Hood' watched as the staff room door swung open and an angry Ella stood in the doorway. I turned back towards him and smirked.
"She's a girl, what is she gonna do." He scoffed and i laughed. I looked over at Ella who calmly walked out from behind the counter and over to Calum.
"Calum Hood right? From 5 Seconds Of Summer?" She asked fluttered her eyelashes and i kept a smirk on my face.
"Ah you're a fan?" He smiled sweetly and i scoffed.
"Yeah, no. Get out." She said sternly and i stifled a laugh.
"And what if i say no?" Calum smirked and i placed my elbow on the counter and rested my head on my palm. Ella took a few steps towards him so she was in breathing distance now. I saw Calum's breath hitch in his throat as she brushed her lips ever so slightly over his. Before Calum could register what was happening, Ella reached for his hand and pulled it up and spun him around so his hand was pressed up against his back.
"Ow! What the fuck are you doing?!" Calum yelped in pain and i burst out laughing as Ella walked, a whimpering, Calum over towards the door. I came out from the counter and walked towards where Ella was before opening the door for her. She smiled thankfully before throwing him out onto the street.
"Oh yeah, did i mention that Ella is a black belt in Karate? No? Well now you know baby." I winked as he brushed himself down and huffed. "Byeee." I smiled and both Ella and I waved before i slammed the door in his face.
"Nice work Ella." i nodded approvingly, turning towards her as we high fived each other.
"Why thank you." She mocked you're stereotypical posh accent and bowed.
