Saturday 25th July

I slowly opened my eyes as i rubbed them, for a better view of my surroundings. I turned to reach for my phone - so i could check the time - as i was going to meet with Arabella today. But in my way, was a sleeping Calum. I bit back a smile as the memories of last night flooded through my head. I can't believe we did it. It was perfect. I could really get used to waking up with him beside me. God i love him so much. I couldn't have a better boyfriend even if i tried.

I rolled back over, deciding to let Cal sleep in as he looked pretty exhausted. I climbed out of bed and walked round before taking my phone off charge, to see i had a message from Arabella. I slid my finger across the screen, allowing the message to show on my phone.

From Arabella:

Charlie, do you want to meet at Starbucks or your dads today?

I hovered my fingers over the keyboard as i tried deciding on where we should meet. I mean we always meet at Starbucks because i've never had the guts to go to my dads old house. See when he died, he left his house to me but i couldn't bare to go back to it, so instead, i gave it to Ari. She, of course, accepted it, mainly because she'd lived there for the past few years of her life, and she was really close with my dad. So she lives there now, but i don't think i've ever visited her in the house after he died. I just never went back to that town again in general. But its been just over 6 months now, and i think i'm probably ready to go back.

To Arabella:

I'll come to my dads today. Do you mind if i bring a friend?

I typed the message before sending it. And almost instantly i got a reply. I winced a little at the 'new message' noise ringing from my phone, hoping it wouldn't wake Calum but, of course, it did. He rolled over so he was facing me and cracked a tiny smile as he slowly began opening his eyes.

"Morning beautiful." He smiled brightly causing me to return the smile.

"Morning Cal." I replied as i leaned down and kissed his lips.

"Who are you talking to?" He furrowed his eyebrows at me as i looked down at my phone to read the message.

From Arabella:

Does this 'friend' happened to be the boy you wont shut up about, because if so, then i would love to meet him.

I giggled a little at her reply, not realising till now, how much i really do talk about Calum.

"Ari." I replied to Calum's earlier question as i typed a reply to Arabella.

To Arabella:

Yes Calum. I'll see you at-

I paused whilst writing the message and checked the time - to see it was 10am - before replying.

To Arabella:

- 1pm?

I sent the message before looking up from my phone, finally having my eyes meet with Calum's. I've always loved Calum's eyes. They're just so beautiful. They have to be one of my favourite physical features of him. Well...

"Would you, maybe, want to meet Arabella today?" I asked as i sat beside Calum, taking his hand in mine, starting to play with his fingers, which is something i would do lately. Normally i play with my own fingers when i'm nervous, but i don't know, there's something about Calum's hands.

"Your dad's nurse?" He questioned, and i nodded in reply. Calum knew about my dad. I mentioned it a little while ago and he apologised and didn't stop hugging me for about an hour. It was cute. I only mentioned Arabella a few times to him, but i don't think he realises how close the two of us are.
