It has been a week since Silver went out of the hospital. He can now walk well though he still needs to be careful at some times. I daily visit him at his condominium because as he knows, I am his ‘beloved-fiancée-who-suppose-to-take-care-of-him’ and I have to attain my responsibilities on him.

I smiled at my boutique’s manager as she entered my office. As for this week, this is my only time to spend it here. Silver’s been nagging about my where-abouts all the time. I find it annoying and sweet at the same time. I told him yesterday that I cannot come on his condominium this day because I need to fix some arrangements with my business. He agreed and everything’s fine.

I gave a sigh as I listened to the branch manager’s statement about the new arrival stocks. I miss Silver already but I also need time and space for me to think on what I should do if the time comes that he’ll be able to regain his memories.

Just like yesterday, he saw a folder on his PC with a woman’s pictures inside it. He asked me who it was and I just cannot say ‘It was Scarlet, your girlfriend who was the real culprit of your accident and not me.’ I just told him I am the one who saved those pictures that it was my best friend’s images. I was half lying. Scarlet had been my best friend but it was before… In addition, I did not tell him that they had this kind of intimate relationship. Moreover, up until now, I still do not know what to do if Silver will have his memories again.

“Miss Violet. That is all for this month, the other ordered stocks will be delivered next week. The other branches are already informed. Also Ma’am, Mr. Yakihiro called on the office yesterday and asking if he could meet you by this week for further discussions about your transactions with him. Are you going to set a dinner with him Ma’am...? Uh – Ma’am?”

 

I just snapped into reality when my secretary along with my boutiques main branch manager called for my attention.

“Uh – Yeah. Wait… Mr. Yakihiro? I thought he was in Japan?” Ayan. Dahil sa sobra kong kakaisip kay Silver, napapabayaan ko na ang Violet’s collection pati ang kausap ko.

“He just came here in Philippines two days ago, he tried to contact you but as how you ordered, I told him that you are busy.” My secretary stated. Oh, I almost forgot about that. Mr. Yakihiro’s been my loyal connection in Japan. He has his fine stocks and bag collections that were delivered to me here in Philippines. We have been good friends but it was only in email. As I know, he is a fashion designer and been one of the best designers around the world.

“Um. Okay, I will try… Maybe tomorrow just, set a dinner date for that. Inform him already about it okay?” I told my secretary before I took some papers to study it. Tambak na ang dapat kong asikasohin because I’ve been out for too long. It was almost an hour and still, I haven’t finished checking all the papers when my office’s door opened. I saw my secretary entered wearing her ear to ear smile. She’s just weird, I think. She actually rarely smiles. As how I’ve known her, she’s a snob person…

“Miss Violet, someone’s looking for you. Gusto po kayong makausap pero sabi ko busy kayo at di nageentertain ng bisita. Kaso mapilit po Ma’am… Kelangan daw niya kayong makita.”She stated. Did I set any appointments now? I just don’t remember anything.
